    The 1st larch on the right is the one to invite you into the mystery beyond. It is generous, full and enticing; making the mystery of the darkness within the depths enticing rather than menacing. The stories that it could tell!

    Thanks for sharing. I am from the west coast and following The Bonsai Zone for the last four-five years, and really inspired by your channel and started practice and involved in bonsai using any plant material I found in my neighborhood, like seeds, cuttings, air-layering, bushes, hedges, and even the weeds with lots of fails and some success. I am retired now and thinking to open a channel to share my stories.

    What a beautiful forest planting! I always wondered how one would trim such a densely planted bonsai. Very well done! Enjoyed every minute of my watching time. Thanks for sharing.

    What a wonderful forest! I just adore forests, my favorite type of bonsai. I had a dawn redwood forest that I lost due to me having to travel and my friend didn't water well enough during a hot spell. I still miss it. I had been wondering about mixed species, rare to see one, it really does work. I love the dead tree in it and didn't think that I would. Thanks for your videos, they are like meditation for me.

    The rectangular pots give masculine character to the tree and round-oval pots give more faminine cjaracter.

  • @eve66able
    @eve66able 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Rectangular is better for fitting it better in the plant room. No wasted spaces between the pots.

    You’re going to regret planting those weeds in there. Almost impossible to control them in a setting like that where they have perfect growing conditions. I think I’d replace them with various types of mosses that look like ferns and other low growing vegetation. However the forest is doing great!

    • @guywatson-bognorregisbonsa7370

      It is a highly invasive ground cover plant with a lot of heavy roots and it will certainly compromise the watering of your trees. Hope that helps.
