I always end up adopting Lucia from Whiterun and Sophie from Windhelm. Both are orphans living on the street (Lucia is a beggar and Sophie sells flowers), but are really adorable and have tragic backstories.
For me it’s Sophie and the kid in Dawnstar whose name I forgot. He works in and out the mines, running around all day in the freezing cold, even forced to sleep outside most nights.

If you want to keep your game files untouched and therefore not bork your files, mod organizer is your best bet. It places all of the mods you put into it in a completely separate path from your actual skyrim installation. You can also have different mod profiles in mod organizer, letting you switch between mod setups relatively easily.

2:45:23 "can you beat skyrim with every x mod installed" I'll speak on this. I got to level 100 on a "serious playthrough" with a whole ton of these. The summary is this.... These mods have very configurable MCMs. So you can make it vary from completely impossible to progress past level 1, to barely a bump in your road. At the end of the day a "balanced" MCM config can probably be described as "grim dark ultra hard mode" compared to vanilla skyrim.

Joov, I know this vod is a year old and I haven’t checked to see if you did that insurance money only run, but it would be a great chance to use the sword you get in whiterun that gets stronger the more friendly NPCs you kill. I think if he did this but used the long bow rom the start and only arrows he made from chopping wood and mined his own ore and smelted it be fine bc it's not animal's amd be could combine them with the animal control perks

Extra optional add-on ideas: -burn/destroy every stable, as they are turning horses into slaves; murder the stable owners and workers too -Temba Wide-Arm should be your spouse or follower or something else significant -use a mod or console commands or some other meddling to make it so that vegetable foods are somewhat more useful in terms of their replenishment of health and stamina, and add in some magicka replenishment from them as well; i.e. veggie power -no slaying of giants, as they befriend cows -no slaying of spriggans as they are friends of animals -obtain as many animal followers/pets as possible
Well, late and all, but I couldn't see if anyone answered this. But yeah. There's a few forks you can use as weapons. One is found on a table in the East Empire Company customs office (where Vittoria Vici works during her day job). Crossbow bolts used to only be able to be crafted at the forge in Fort Dawnguard, and only after you completed quests for them involving the Breton girl that they recruit. However with the Creation Club stuff that they give you with the Anniversary Edition and such, the Castle Fletcher store in Solitude (right near the top of the ramp leading to the blacksmith from the small market square) will sell Crossbows and Crossbow Bolts. Once you have a perk and buy a particular crossbow/bolt from the store (so Steel Crafting for Steel, Ebony Crafting for Ebony, etc) you can just make crossbow bolts at any forge. Or get mods that let you do it by various means. Like Skyrim Reborn giving the Marksmanship tree a perk at about 25 Marksmanship if I recall to make your own crossbow and steel/dwarven bolts. Also mentioning that Castle Fletcher bit it causes probably the dumbest quest in Skyrim I've seen to happen. Anytime you buy a Dwarven Crossbow Bolt from the Castle Fletcher? Calcemo in Markarth will somehow have heard of it and send a letter wanting to buy a single crossbow bolt off you (no matter how many you bought). They'll buy it for double what you paid (4 septims from 2) or if you pass a moderate Persuasion check Calcemo will pay you 8 Septims for a single crossbow bolt. But he only wants that single crossbow bolt. Not like you can sell him a full stack for a profit or anything. It's weird. I have no idea why they put that in and I never noticed the quest until I got the Anniversary Edition upgrade and bought a bolt from Castle Fletcher (and that seems to be the only thing that causes it, he doesn't care if I craft my own or loot it off a Dwemer Construct). Also speaking of the magic telepathy telecomms whatever response to things that people shouldn't know. I never forget, and am often amused by something I ran into with my first Skyrim run. Anise's Cabin, and Anise herself. Snooping around I found her secret plans and she tried to murder me. So I killed her in self defense. With Anise dead anyway, I claimed the cabin as a little home for myself as people do. Took stuff from it I wanted to use for crafting, etc. Four in game days later or so, some Hired Thugs jump me at the Whiterun Stables. With a contract... from Anise. Not over the fact that I murdered her, or anything like that. But because I STOLE from her. After I most definitely killed her. I always would joke about how Skyrim seems to have some Necromancer Bounty System as dead people somehow are able to contact (and pay!) thugs over things that happened after they died.
The Calcelmo radiant quest has always been there, IIRC it can happen with any dwemer item... however if you simply drop the note without reading it, he NEVER sends you another one, thank the Divines!

Is it better than his normal Joov channel? I think I only checked that one out like 2x. First time was about a year ago, and I didn't even know enough about Skyrim for whatever was in the video to make sense to me, so none of the humor was of any value to me, so anytime I saw a Joov or Diet Joov video I went right past it until I finally sample one of the door randomizing ones, and that was fun. I like when there is something that alters the game mechanics in a way that makes my brain feel the need to go back to the beginning and rethinki gameplay strategy.
