Hello!
I have gotten my PR and will be landing in December. I've applied to NCA and waiting for my assessment report.
While I prepare for the NCA exams, what are my options for getting a basic entry level job in the legal field on the basis of Indian Law degree?
Also, isn't LLM in Common law a better option than doing credit courses from a Uni as essentially one would be spending a significant amount but also get a degree in the case of LLM? Instead of just getting the nca courses
Thanks in advance. Yours videos have been very enlightening.
Hi Vinay! Thanks for the positive feedback :)
You could start with a receptionist job at a law firm to get a foot in the door. You have to be okay with the fact that you’re gonna have to start from scratch. The Indian Law Degree in terms of usefulness doesn’t mean much here, since the legal system is different. But yes, it does get you a foot in the door if your personality makes a mark on the employer.
Yes LLM CL is definitely the way to go when compared to individual credit subjects.
Mam hru...?
Mam I have completed my LLB degree in 2021 so can you tell me what are the immigrations path ways for me to land in Canada. Thanks
@@IrfanAli-wj9dc hi. You can see if you’re a good Express Entry candidate or if any PNP is an option for you. Best is to come as a PR. otherwise, student visa to work permit to PR pathway is also there. You should consult an immigration professional :)
Helo mam i want to ask something. Can i have your Instagram or something which is convenient to you.
I have 2..3 genuine questions. It will be great help .
