Wow. Are the big ones as tasty as the 20 pounders?

They are about the same but we prefer the 30’s to 80 lb Halibut

Chicken is good ,, wife prefer’s the chicken specially from homer , we launch at homer and fish off Anchor point, that fish was shared with friends, neighbors and relatives nothing was wasted including the heads

Do you think if a shark would've been biting at its tail...you'd of got him outta that water no matter what it took?

I fish for more than 10 years all over Alaska , Seward, Whittier and Homer , never saw a shark . I heard in Whittier there’s a lot of salmon sharks but never encountered one

With this size halibut it's a good idea to let it completely expire while it's still in the water and only then bring it onboard. They can break your legs with their tails or damage the boat, don't ask me how I know :)

Alot of trauma over 150 lb halibut. Put your big boy pants on and get it over the transom…

Love to see you on big boy pants bringing a halibut that size over the transom.. obviously you don’t know what you’re talking about lol

Wow you really made the halibut suffer at the end. Hard to watch.
