Well played by Mimile, maybe I was not enough agressive and I didn’t play well in the city (where the game is won or not). It was game 1 and I wasn’t warm to have such a game. Game 2 and Game 3 where different in terms of APM.
Double leaders because I could fit it in the deck haha. I'd rather have standard leaders than arty leaders because arty leaders are way too expensive. The spam of PTRD of soviet divs is really nice against the halftrack spam of some western allies. 84 and 97 are the best sov divs in my opinion. Spoiler: With this victory, I got my 10th gold medal in 1v1 tournament which puts me first on the leaderboard on the SDL discord :)
I personally would play SD2 if i have time, i only get time now on weekends and even then its also rare. Happy you make videos again ATKPWR ! Always fun watching
In Belgium, we celebrate Halloween, Saint Nicolas (although this one is slowly fading away) and Christmas. Some companies have been trying to introduce black Friday for a few years with some success. Historically, we used to celebrate Saint Nicolas and not Christmas but that has changed decades ago.
Saint Nicolas (Niklaus) also is the origins of Santa Claus, with the same "colour scheme". It's still somewhat celebrated in Alsace as well, but is fading
Per your 37mm comments, there is a debate going on about the mainstay AAA pieces right now. Laffychan charted out the DPS on all but they heavy AAA pieces, and the Flak 36, Soviet 37mm, and Bofors all came out as being a percentage point or two of one another in terms of effectiveness. (although the Bofors benefits the most from vet) Some in game testing likewise showed the effectiveness between them was not far apart. Debate is still being had if the splash has an impact that isn't properly being modeled or if we have all just been a victim of groupthink.
There is also the fact that the impact of AA is very binary so a small increase in damage/suppression can radically change the effectiveness of an AA. Either you stop the plane from bombing you or you don't. Either you kill the plane or you don't. Being a few % better can be enough to make an AA extremely good.
In Poland we celebrate "All Saints' Day" on November 1 and Poland's Independence Day on November 11. These are basically the only days off in the fall.
Oktoberfest isn't a holliday, it originated in bavaria and (sadly) spread over the rest of germany by now. In Germany we either have a holdiay on the 31. october, (reformationday) or on the 1st November (All Saint's day). Depends on the state you live in.
in SD44 the german 37mm at gun became one of my favorits, because it was fast and it was nice to use for abush of armore that htought they made a braketrough
In Norway we dont really have any Fall celebrations. We have Allehelgensdag (All Saints' Day). Halloween have tried since the 90s to creep in, but it is only celebrated by some. What i know is pretty different here is that we have a huge celebration around Easter.
Wow I watched the Fahreed vs Konig tournament game 6 months ago because I didnt notice my phone skipped to the next video. He made thr same "fragile" joke in both videos XD
we northern germans dont get drunk and pass out in our own puke... lol just joking. we just dont do it on oktoberfest. there are attempts to make helloween popular at last since the 2000s but its not very successfull. some celebrate it, most dont. im personally happy to ignore it, its for muricans not germans. its bad enough that we got Erntedankfest (Thanksgiving) in common, minus the bird of cause. there is Nikolaus somewhere around November-Dezember were kids build lamps and walk through the city but besides that nothing comes to mind...
Can someone explain how the rate of fire of infantry weapons relate to their damage output? And in general how the stats like suppression build up. I've been playing for a while now but can seem to find out.
I should point out that the term 'roll off the dice' means for each target fired on each time by each unit the game generates a random number between two and 12 as a modifier. Damage = 1 weapon x no. of weapons. RoF = 1 weapon x no. of weapons e.g. 1 carbine = .15 damage & 75 RoF so 10 carbines - 1.5 damage & 750 RoF. So damage x RoF x Accuracy x all the Modifiers
tanks sloping armour values are always wrong. A typical T34 might have typical 90mm frontal horizontal armour thickness but it also has a 'deflection' stat. A shell that has only enough momentum (velocity x mass) to penetrate 90mm will always be deflected (any that penetrate are based on poor manufacturing process during the armour production). A deflection stat can change based on the characteristics of the shell
Europeans basically have similar celebrations, because most of your holidays are adaptions of english and european ones. Halloween has its roots in celebrations like Samhein, which are about the warding off of evil winter spirits. But the celebrations is quite americanised now due to your version being way more adapted to capitalism. Also there are "thanksgiving" feasts that give thanks for a good harvest. Similar vibe, but no founding myth. In Germany, specifically in predominantely catholic regions, there is also the day of St. Martin. Kids go through the streets with lanterns, and many villages have a play on the market square. St. Martin comes riding and shares his coat and bread with a beggars like in his tale. As he rides of, the kids follow him to sweet bread and ... hot fruit drinks. Also Oktoberfest is for rich assholes and priviledged kids to drink overpriced beer, butcher already overplayed and unbearable songs with their beer-addled voices and arythmic clapping and finally pass out in their own puke and piss at 4 in the afternoon. Fuck Oktoberfest.
No european holidays in the fall as far i am aware. Helloween is celebrated by minority as supermarkets trying to push seasonal crap, but that only came in the internet era.
Depends on the country, but a fair amount of EU do celebrate during those days (Nov 1st or Oct 31st aka All Saints). PS from Munich: Unfortunately Oktoberfest happens mostly in September but ends the first week of Oktober (yes - I agree, it should be called Septemberfest 😂).
@gianlucagasparini8368 who tf celebrates all saints day, except old timers. I never heard anyone saying we are going to celebrate all saints day. This is not holiday in sense of easter or christmas.
@@solaufein1374 If I remember correctly, the point in the video was not about celebrating. The question was if there are any public holidays over here during these times and there is one in many EU countries (all saints). And btw - a ton of people do celebrate Halloween over here. Nothing like in the US, but many people, especially younger generations do hang out and dress up for the occasion.
Freshest on steam, around the end theres a part with "Upcoming Balance Updates" where they state: "We improved the availability of Soviet tank leaders and medium tanks, as well as SU-85" and "rehaul of anti-tank rifle teams, recon armored cars, light tanks, and AT half-tracks. They’ve seen an improvement in price and/or availability to buff Axis and Soviet performance versus light vehicles" also "KAZAKI infantry were reworked as 12-man squads (currently only featuring 9 soldiers) with an increase in firepower" + that may mean nothing but "We also added a variety of units to other older divisions (to be disclosed later in full)" considering the soviet divs are the oldest
@@tedarcher9120 Wouldn't be historical, not all t-34s had APCR and the ppsh isn't a gun good enough to deserve 150m like the other 150m smgs, the danuvia would enter into that group way before the ppsh
@Thehellhound100 danuvia should be 150-200m for sure, it's a beast. PPSH uses the most powerful cartridge though, it can easily shoot 200m, but accuracy is not that great. They should give it 150m but with much lower accuracy than Danuvia or Beretta. Right now Autos are completely useless as they lose to Sturmpioneers every time
@Thehellhound100 not all t-34s had APCR, true, because they used them. But Americans didn't have apcr at all until autumn, and then in small numbers, one shot per gun per month. Yet in the game they get it always, and it's completely ahistorical too. Soviets had a regulation minimum of 4 rounds APCR per tank/gun, and 8 for anti-tank guns or tanks in defence. I think at least Guards should get access to APCR, or a new unit t-34 APCR with lower avail should be added. This would make t-34-76 heavy divisions like Turina feel much better as right now you have to rely on su-85 everywhere.

Would be cool if Eugene implemented historical ptrs squads with 3 rifles.

Lack of M4 (105) in Koenig's deck is really weird imo. That thing could deal with ZIS-2s pretty well

Aah yes, the monolithic singular culture of Europe.
