    What surprised you most about Nobu? Have you ever stayed at Caesars Palace or Nobu Hotel?

      I remember when I stayed at Mandalay Bay it had to be in like 2008 - I remember the furniture being very worn out and thinking that this is like a party hotel and the rooms probably get trashed all the time

    Just stayed there this past weekend. Really enjoyed my stay at Nobu. My wife and I felt very safe and private due to the check in area being watched. Bed was extremely comfortable and was well rested. I loved the fact that there was a cigar bar right across and everything was accessible right by our room.

    Thanks for the tour. I stayed at Caesars Palace about 10 years ago. I forget which tower it was in (we had a West view toward I-15), but the rooms were good sized. I would definitely stay at Caesars again. I think it's perfect for first-time visitors to Vegas. Great theme and history, great amenities like the pool area and Forum Shops, and great central location.

    Traveling to Vegas end of April and always thought of Nobu as an upgrade...Probably paying for the upgraded /decorated shower area. Underwhelmed with the room. Stayed in a one bedroom palace tower suite in March, right before Covid hit- beautiful room with a great view. Thanks for the review... The informative review!

      Thanks Tony! I tend to agree it probably isn't worth the upgrade. I mean the room is nicer materials wise than any other Caesars Palace room I have stayed but the size is just too small. I think the suites look very very nice but again the price is insane.

    I stayed at Caesars last August and it was an awful experience. The room they gave us had a nice view of the fountains but when we walked in it was never cleaned and had that seal on the door that house keeping put. There was trash in the fridge left by the previous guest and they had left their charger. Stains on the sheets and bathroom sinks left dirty. We went to complain and they gave us a 75.00 comp In food. So when we used the comp for the restaurant across the check in we thought it would be taken off. Well we were wrong. They charged us the full amount. I will never stay there again!

    Harrahs, LinQ, Ballys, Flamingo, Rio: $10. Paris: $24. Caesars $40. Nobu: $118. NobuT thanks anyway.

    You're too forgiving about this Nobu Hotel. The fact that there isn't ' anything really bad ' with the room is NOT good enough. If you pay 3 times as much compared to a 'normal ' room, you expect MUCH more... It's like saying you don't mind paying the price of a Rolls Roys for a small Ford, because there is nothing real wrong with the Ford... If you pay for a gold ring you don't want one in plastic, no matter how good it looks. You have been ' Had! ' as we say here in the UK.

    • @Milestomemories
      @Milestomemories  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Some people prefer the decor and location within the casino. My goal was to show people what Nobu offered over regular rooms and to let them decide. As I made clear I don't think it is worth the premium, but I do think others will feel differently.

  • @josephn9639
    @josephn9639 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Nobu reminds me of the Cromwell, or NoMad/Hotel 32. These corporations take these old properties with tiny rooms, spend a bundle on renovations, and then think they can price them at a huge premium.
    No thanks. These rooms are really nice, but they are still tiny, from the old days of Las Vegas when people gambled all day and only went to the room to sleep. If CP wants to charge a price like the top strip hotels, they need to tear down some walls and expand the rooms.

    • @Milestomemories
      @Milestomemories  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah that is a problem. I really enjoyed NoMad (video coming soon) but I was in a suite and not their standard room. It is hard to compete with newer properties with 600 sq ft rooms for sure!

  • @Bluboy30
    @Bluboy30 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I've never stayed at Nobu and probably never will. I'm claustrophobic, the rooms there are too small and tight for me. If I'm going to pay premium price for a room in Vegas, I'd stay at The Aria, Cosmo, Wynn or Encore. Bigger rooms and much better view.

  • @gamblingAMF
    @gamblingAMF 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    There is a huge design flaw with walking into the room, and the bathroom door being closed.
    It is just too tight and the hotel door would bump into the closed bathroom door.

      Absolutely not. Venetian room was big and the bathroom nice. Not as nice as the Augustus ones. Place was pretty, but the hike to my room involved two elevators. Check in was chaos. Most of all, they were overtly rude to me. Example: went early to dinner. Restaurant not crowded. At about 50, we were shuffled upstairs and seated in a room with an empty bar. We could look down on the main floor where much younger customers were seated. Told that the other tables were taken. (Most of the restaurant. Not a seat filled in the next hour or so.) The lobby was the first thing I ever saw at Caesars, and to this day it is still stunning. I think the architects and designers have done an excellent job of blending old and new, thanks to hundreds of millions of dollars in renos over the years. Thanks Keith! When putting this together I was trying to decide if I could provide some sense of direction when showing these places and I ultimately gave up. There are just way too many corridors and connectors! I do love Caesars Palace too. So much history.

      @@Milestomemories The first time I went to Vegas, I couldn’t believe the size of the hotels/casinos and the distance between them. It still amazes me how big everything is in Vegas compared to the uk 🇬🇧
