- General Mills gave us a special new Monster Mash cereal for Halloween this year. It's (kinda) a mix of all the monster cereals. Halloween in August? I can't complain...

The retro look is cool, but if they really wanted to celebrate the anniversary right, they should have put a toy inside the box.

@@Dave-ce8co yeah back then, we had to cut out the form that was on the box and had to send them a few actual box tops to get the products and send them a money order for like $2. I waited and waited and it finally came 🥳 I was the happiest kid alive 👍👍👍😁

Man, 2013 was the first time I've ever tried Frute Brute and Yummy Mummy, and I ended up loving those flavors more! Kinda sucks that they didn't bring them back this year! I just got the Mash up cereal today and I have to say I do like it, coming from someone who is a fellow Boo-Berry fan.😁
I always like how the ghost pieces in these monster cereals look like Pac-Man ghosts.
P.S. I loved how you put on the Count Chocula mask at the very end of the video. I had no idea they made Halloween costumes of those monster cereal mascots.

I'm excited for Halloween content, if only for the fact that it represents the ending of summer! I hate summer- it's hot and muggy and awful. Bring on the crisp, beautiful autumn weather and holidays!

You know they have the individual boxes of the monster cereals which each character rocking out with their own instruments but it’s just the main three though Never mind you already knew

i was looking for info on old cereal boxes because I have a box of Ralston Bran Chex that expired in June of 1995 its never been opened. I really do understand why its never been opened , that stuff was horrible back in its day !!

I found a box of these hidden behind some lame cereal at Dollar Tree a year ago. Still on top of my fridge unopened.

Is it just me, or was there less marshmallows in boo berry and frankenberry...
The art style reminds me of the end credits 2D hand drawn animation from Hotel Transylvania.
Those marshmallows are Boo Berry heads. They are suppose to be a round head with a square pork-pie hat. It's the same marshmallow they made yellow when introducing Fruity Yummy Mummy because Boo Berry would become the "forth-wheel" in the late 80s...
So the yellow and orange heads are boo berry heads too?
@@CerealTimeTV Yes. I suppose it was far more easier to use that marshmallow in 2013 rather than actually any other kind of marshmallow in multiple colors. Personally I think it's time to "pallet cleanse" the monstermallows in order to streamline the cereals especially if it means the possibility of new and different Monster Cereals. Someday I'm going to propose an "Interactive Museum" of Monster Mansion where you can buy all the Monsters year round with oat flour and 32g of cane sugar and make them on site simply and efficiently so that a sixth, seventh, eight, monster cereal could be introduced or even hold a monster subscription contest to create your own Monster Cereal. Winner would get a full box of that character? I figure going with the card game scheme: Ghost cereal and bat marshmallows...

Gabe, what's your favorite Monster Cereal? It was a toss-up between Frankenberry and Boo Berry, for me.
I was just looking for this one I knew if anyone had gotten to it early it'd be you,
*_Mad monster party?_* because it's really kind of stale being a stop motion animated picture from 67, and not directly tied to the product so it wouldn't really work as a marketing gimmick but it would have been cool for that QR code to take you to I don't know a free download or you know maybe they you could watch it on their website or something.
Really enjoyed this video, and I love the retro boxes, but for the life I cannot understand why GM doesn't bring back the oat recipes....

At 5:39 you say "little blobs, whatever those are" and at 6:40, you restate; "I'm not really sure what that blob is supposed to be." I don't understand how come you don't recognize that it's "The Blob." Perhaps you aren't aware of it, but "The Blob" is yet another famous old movie monster.
I don’t think it’s The Blob since that’s not one of the General Mills monsters.
@@CerealTimeTV I surely always thought it was. Perhaps it's a blood splatter. Just as a lightning bolt represents a Frankenstein-type monster, a blood splatter can represent a vampire.
