Very proud owner of this cue! The video really doesn't do it justice. The color and figure in the wood absolutely pop in person. The best part is this is the most balanced and solid hitting cue I've ever played with. Stroke feels pure and effortless. @Studiotronics was great to work with and I'm so thankful he agreed to take this project. He really is an Artist / Craftsman / Maker / Cool Guy
Wow! Cocobolo is one of my favorite woods used it cues, along with Berle and Purple Heart. Another masterpiece you’ve created. And I love the joint protectors you created! One of a kind! Just gorgeous.
Though I am not a fan of the appearance of cocobolo, your careful attention to detail makes for a beautiful cue. I'm impressed and a big fan from now on.
Beautiful job! When I got out of high school in the early 90s I went to work for JOSS. My dad was best friends with the owner Danny, they ran together since the '60s and man they've got more stories than you could imagine. At the time Mike Siegel and Nick Varner were both sponsored players and I used to see those guys all the time and to this day and still friends with nick. Joss transitioned into a production cue manufacturer but we did build a very small amount of custom cues from scratch. I can tell anyone that's interested in your cues that they're built with precision and by what I've read and heard they hit amazing. People have no clue how difficult it is to get those points to line up like that, awesome work my friend.
Mark, thank you for the kind words! Mike Siegel, Nick Varner, wow. Bill Stroud was at Joss right? Possibly had already left by then. I need to somehow leverage your comment to help me convince my wife that yes, we need a new metal lathe.
What the amazing job, Man! I am cue maker too from Bali Indonesia! hope someday had tools like you use for work, now i am product a cue 80% with manually way.....! 😀😀
Nothing short of amazing craftsmanship I would love to buy one of these perfect cues if the offer was ever there as I play poor in the premier legue in the uk.
Thank you for sharing this. Cocobolo is beautiful, but in my opinion, not worth the risk. I know several cue builders that won't touch Coco for any amount of money.
@@Studiotronics When I realized what was happening (while staring at the pink filter in my ceiling air handler), I looked it up. The worst offender, apparently, is cedar, which I've been around my entire life (I'm 50ish).
Been playing snooker for over 40 years, and long time love for cue making. This is the finest cue process video I've ever seen, and your results look like they'd sit comfortably among top end John Parris cues, and custom makers like Kevin DeRoo. Have you ever made a snooker cue? If you'd like to, I'll send very detailed specs. :-)
my queue guy since the 90s. now 70 still going strong. secret. tiny basement, no ventilation, no respirator, no gloves, and one pack of moods cigarillos a day, really no kidding, our boomers are really made out of another wood.;))) maybe he is now 80% wood dust
Hot damn man. Another beautiful cue. Wow! Makes me want to get a 4th axis for my cnc so I can try it. But… I’m smart enough to know that won’t go well. Ha. I’d rather buy one from you instead. Again, mad respect Sir. Cheers!
Excellent work, I am also a hands craftsman working with timber but not cues unfortunately :-) it is extremely satisfying and rewarding, especially when the customer loves your work.
All I can say is that you my friend are incredible what a awesome, looking cue i could dream of having a cue like one of his you never know maybe someday I can dream right 😊
Amazing cue & amazing video. Please give us more! As others have said, I’d love to have one of your FS cues; ideally nicely figured Purpleheart long points into a stained BEM forearm, no veneers, no bling. Similar to my favorite Bills McDaniels MacAttack cue. Please let me know how to reach you offline. Hope to hear from you! BTW, I’m a fellow cat/animal lover & sometimes Deadhead. ✌️

That green looks like it will really pop in person.

This cue was beautiful man.. nice work.
You're making a beautiful cue and what do I notice? A Star Blazers t-shirt! Awesome :o)
Perfectionist. The hours it must have taken to reach such levels is sure to be many. Awe-inspiring.
What a beautiful cue. I did not know that cocobolo is toxic. A shame because it is has gorgeous structure. Love these cue-making videos.

@@Studiotronics I can tell you right now...yes you need a new metal lathe 🙂. Did that help?
Dude I've watched this 3 times already...never gets old

Man… that build was a beast. That’s a true skilled craft and you’ve mastered it.
What the amazing job, Man! I am cue maker too from Bali Indonesia! hope someday had tools like you use for work, now i am product a cue 80% with manually way.....! 😀😀

Amazing. So so so so so so so beautiful.
Absolutely beautiful work my friend.

I have always wanted a Titlist converted to a sneaky peat. This cue really reminds me of that. Killer work!
Absolutely stunning cue as usual!
Best cue building channel on TH-cam! I've enjoyed seeing your progress, and feel inspired that you don't seem to be afraid to up your game each video!
Also, Cocobolo is an absolutely beautiful wood, but I know a few cue builders that won't touch it for any amount of money.
Absolutely beautiful work!!
Thank you! Cheers!

Hi from England! AMAZING watch, great looking cue! KUDOS!
Didn't expect finish to turn out like that. Follow the beads of light. Nice work!
True art.
Beautiful.
I am speechless at this video. Fantastic craftsmanship.
Absolute work of art ! The cue is beautiful ! Amazing job ! 🎱👍🏻🎱
I could watch this all day! What an artist!
Could you possibly make a video on your lathe/cnc, I'd love to see that machine and how it works
Awesome work, much nicer than the beat up old pool cues I used to use as a kid
Stunning cue. great job!
Cocobolo dust nearly put me in the hospital. Beautiful job!
Thank you for sharing this. Cocobolo is beautiful, but in my opinion, not worth the risk. I know several cue builders that won't touch Coco for any amount of money.
Absolutely stunning craftsmanship impeccable
What you saw in this video was all cnc manufacturing, this is what you call craftsmanship .... th-cam.com/video/jEt0uzddb0o/w-d-xo.html
That cocobolo looks sweet. Nice job
Excellent stick! Congrats to owner and admirers of master's craftsmanship again...
Now that’s craftsmanship.
Outstanding piece of work. Thoroughly enjoyed this video
I haven't worked with cocobolo, but I can tell you purple heart almost put me in the ER. NASTY stuff. Great video!
It’s funny, Purple Heart has zero effect on me! Ebony and Sapelle both kick my butt though. Ebony gives me hives. Sapelle makes me sneeze for days

Impressive craftsmanship! The setup with the router on the rail -- is that a custom-built piece of equipment?
Man thats a beautiful cue! Makes me want to get back into playing

Nice Cue, Great Job...
Your work is amazing. Great build, the cocobolo looks awesome.
That is an excellent looking cue!
Very nice work bro. A stick that nice needs a hard wooden box that matches, to carry and store your art safely.
Amazing job. I’d be proud to own and even prouder to make!
Your work is incredible! Would love a cue made by you
Great cue!!!
That is a work of art! You have made a beautiful cue stick!
