Such a beautiful city. My son in law is South Korean and adopted by his Aussie parents when he was 6 months old and brought here to Adelaide. He is just beautiful. A 6'2" gentle giant which is unusual as the Korean people are usually petite. He wants to take my daughter (his wife) and my 2 gorgeous grand kids over there. I started binge watching all your korea vlogs because we're planning to go to korea this year. It will be my first time trying to shop for luxury in australia duty free airport section. I am an australian and I want to buy luxury goods in the australian airport. Just wondering, to get tax free on goods like cartier, do I need to buy the item upon departure from the airport or can I buy the item upon returning from korea back to australia? If I need to purchase the luxury goods item upon depature from australia, can I wear the item or must the item be un-used? I want to use this chance to get a cartier piece 💜🙏🙏

Mel, how are you finding communicating with the locals? I’m Korean and want to go back there to see my birth mum but don’t know any korean
We don’t speak any Korean either and we were fine. In most retail stores their English is quite good actually. When we did venture out to more “local” eateries we just pointed to the food on the English menu lol. You can always use a translation app if you get stuck too x
