I installed the K&N intake and watched your video through the install and was very helpful thanks for the detailed info The intake looks great and perfoms good
I just read there's a "silencer" on the air intake of challengers. I have a 19 scat pack. Does that have one? I didn't really see one on the stock hose to the throttle body you removed. I was hoping a K&N would remove this "silencer". Now I'm wondering if its further back. Haven't actually seen a photo of what it looks like. Nm. Think i found it. Under the Airbox. So in that case this will totally bypass it :)
Without a tune, you can expect to see an increase of single digit horsepower around 5-10 along with increased throttle response. You can definitely expect to see a larger gain with a tune. -Zach
@@AmericanMuscleDodge is it normal to hear a whistling sound from the inside after installing? I just installed mine yesterday and kept hearing a whistling sound when im driving, TYIA

Won't this make the ambient temp higher since the stock air intake pulls air out from underneath the car?
If you sit in 90+ weather your gauge will be all the way to right😅🤫 Not for people that sit in traffic all day
I have a 2019 challenger scat pack with heat extractors. Will rain make its way through the heat extractor and flood the filter?
How much HP does it add to your car?
Is this available for a 2019 5.7 charger
No disconnecting the battery then?
did yall disconnect the battery? if so did you need the anti theft code for the radio after you reconnected?
Why would you?
My filter keeps sliding off when I try to tighten it. Can someone help me out? Thanks
Dry the inside threads off
i have the exact same problem
This works with the 2021 scat pack Challenger correct ?

@@392_Ysi I believe it’s normal from what others have said
Does it mess up the mass flow sensor or make check engine lights come on
No it doesn’t, I installed same one on my R/T and felt a difference right away.
Chris G thank I order mine gonna install mine just seen some people say it does
Hector Hernadez No problem bro I really like mine. What kind of Challenger do you have?
Yes when you don’t plug the air sensor which it don’t fit because of extension
What if it Rains? Any way to cover it ?
It won't get wet. Had one in my old charger. Drive that car in the rain so often and I can truthfully type that out never got wet
