I’m going to attempt to paint a portrait of my moms high school senior photos for a Mother’s Day present and these videos give me a lot of hope that I can do a somewhat decent job. Thanks for all the tips!
Hi, Chris! I'm sorry you feel jealous about our insanely fast improvement, but if anything, it's a testament to how good your instruction and exercises are! To everyone else, if you're on the fence about this course, TAKE IT! My paintings are the first ones he critiques in the video. I was scared of portrait painting when I started... didn't have a clue how to approach it. He's demystified so much of it and packaged it into a very straightforward course. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to start portrait painting or just become a more well-rounded painter :)
I’m so glad you enjoyed the course and got a lot out of it. I have taken so many online courses myself in the past and I really wanted to make a course that would not only give the student a quick results but show them a path of what to learn and practice for years to come. I look forward to seeing the long term progress you make in the future.
Well, wow, I stand corrected. At first, I thought one of the Day 6 paintings was done by a genius. Such a huge jump in improvement. However, watching this video makes me realize you cut out the unnecessary parts and focused on the stuff that changes the way people think about painting and also provided a method to start within your painting course. This is an amazing achievement as a Teacher/Coach. When they take that next step to landscapes, interiors, clothes, buildings, etc. They'll realize they have the mental tools to begin but need a little more tools and some raw experience to bring everyone and everything together in a moving way.
I'd love to replicate those thin 'shelves' on the wall in the background in my own space, are they bought or handmade? Your videos are fantastic Chris!
I have only a few hours left for joining the course! Before I do, I need to know if there is any time limit on accessing it after I join? Reason being I have a lot on my plate next couple months…company from out of state, a vacation, and other commitments for the next few weeks…but I don’t want to miss out on the coupon 😳🤷♂️

I plan to, really admire this coach!!!!
Lovely painting, by the way!
0:54 Day 1 brushwork and color is far more expressive and interesting despite the drawing inaccuracy. Don’t ever lose that.
Hi! That's mine :) I'd like to loosen up my brushstrokes once I get more confident at drawing. Thanks for your comment :)

I'd love to replicate those thin 'shelves' on the wall in the background in my own space, are they bought or handmade? Your videos are fantastic Chris!
Is this in the oil painting course when you explained about focusing one sub skill at a time?

Congrats on finishing putting this course together. Hopefully, I'll be able to buy it. Once you buy it, is it yours forever or does it expire?
