Just an informative you may want to provide - Mythic Siege in Retail is unable to be soloed due to a bug that causes the Galakras fight to have reverted to its pre-Legacy Nerf fight status, meaning you have to duo it to be able to complete it. The jump to Garrosh still works, but if you were not completed on it with all your alts, and were farming T-Mog so you didn't have to buy it with Bronze, you are a bit screwed until they hotfix it.

I think for the gear upgrade costs a good feasible fix right now that would be detrimental to as little people as possible would be to make upgrade slots account wide. For example, If you were to upgrade all of your gear to max on 1 character, each slot to upgrade on an alt would only cost 10 bronze per level. I see this as more of a justification for the current cost while not being awkward for those that already dumped a bunch into upgrades.
40k is pretty much enough to buy the most expensive mounts off the vendor. I've gotten all the 2200 ones and am working my way through the others; currently I'm looking at 6k for the pterrodaxes and similar. It's also worth noting that the wandering isle appearances off the vendor are cosmetic, so you can buy those and wear them on anything. Anyway, kitty is very affectionate today. I'm love her.
The kitty opening the door animation lol - I had to go back just to watch it again. QUESTION?!I am for the most part a very casual player these days, and the more they nerf/buff bronze etc the more nervous I get. How many of the mounts would you guess the average casual could collect on their first play-through? I of course want to get them all, but am unsure if bronze scales with each alt levelled or if it's flat-rates across the board.
Level a character to 70. Do LFRs and normal raids. Get the 40k bronze quest, buy a mount, repeat. Takes about 7 hours. And you'll get another 30-40k bronze just from playing, so there's another mount. Do that until done.
So would rolling a new toon, levelling to 70, getting 40k bronze (plus whatever you earned getting there) buying whatever cosmetics/mounts you can afford - then deleting character and rinse/repeat be considered an exploit? I didn't frog farm, but I did kill a few while on the Timeless Isle, (along with other creatures) trying to get some charms to top off one of the reputations to get the Gold Astral Cloudserpent mount (maybe 200 charms across August Celestial/Golden Lotus) - my cloak barely had 500 of each stat, but somehow I have not been elligble for the 40k bronze. so I would like to know what criteria they are basing it off?
*QUESTION* I was character capped before remix started. Blizzard did give us 5 more character slots for this event. My question is, if I make those 5 characters and level them to max, then delete them to make more to level in the event, when the day comes for them to switch over to regular characters will "all" of them switch over to regular characters? Even the ones held in the deleted list for if and when they're restored? Thanks. (P.S. My name tag "jmrgtrman" is "Jammer Guitar Man" smooshed together")
I agree about alt leveling, thus far for me it's been a lot faster and I feel like I'm destroying things compared to the first character I leveled. I am not having any issues doing scenarios with my first character or doing quests etc at 70, but I can't speak to how it is for raids 65-70. Hoping for much the same with alts, but I have no plans to do raids, so not wasting bronze on upgrading gear.
I think having the second trinket (and any jewelry) plus the inverse scaling well playing low level alts could feel better compared to the first character. I remember 10-20 around 3 hours so I really hit the slowdown around 60-70, maybe around 55. I went for buying all the mounts, just 1 6600 bronze goat to go, have 1/3 saved up.
I've made an alt who I'm about to do the raids with, just so my main can have a necklace. Makes sense! 😅 My wishlist is to make LFR count for that achievement. Seems weird that it has to be normal.
Question !! Do you think we’ll get more remix situation going on in the future w other expansion, I would love a Burning Crusade remix where I level a Demon Hunter 🤓
If you do your daily ques and clear all the normal raids, you easily get over 40k bronze a day. I'm only 9 upgrades away from finishing my gear. If I can solo the normal raids then I'm guaranteed all the cosmetics.
My method has been to funnel all bronze earned on my main into gear, any alts (and I'm planning on a good few) will be getting the cosmetics. Good middle ground for me, cuz I do want to eventually do the harder raids.
didnt frog, but getting 25k a day from the start means you can fully upgrade gear and get every cosmetic. Currently just got my gear to 500ilv and im having a blast. What a fun event also in regards to the bones, you need 42 for everything. Havent done mythic so not sure how much it drops, but normal drops one and heroic drops 4. (apparently mythic drops 10) Thats 42 normal runs, or 10 Heroic runs + 2 Normal, or 4 Mythic runs + 2 Normal Btw Heroic Raids gives you so much bronze. Just spent an hour and a half doing the first 3 raids on heroic (1 wipe to sha of fear) and got 14k bronze
They need to give retroactive Spools for people who focused on the Achievements first.. Mailing Gems to alts would be nice if we could. They need to fix retroactively Pearlfin Jinyu rep, cuz you’re permanently stuck at Revered cuz of wrong Rep from quests.. Also some Faction Quartermasters are missing (which would help with Commendations to hit Exalted faster on the slower reps.)
Spools alone dont really contribut emuch, its how high those frog farmers pumped their ilvl. It makes a difference in terms of being able to eat a failed mech or 2 though
doing any of the special content with a fresh 70 seems very painful. Most of my gear was at 346 and I was struggling more than usual. I am not the best at group content, but even in a normal dungeon where I was the only one at max lvl, I died three times! I was the only casualty and I thought for sure I would be kicked, but the group was friendly, but it made me second guess doing any raids or anything else at max lvl. Doing a scenario wasn't too bad. I will have to try doing it with a different character who is still lvling and is under 60 to get the achievements you mentioned.
Dont feel bad, it was the same with my fury warrior at 70 even with all legendary gems and all trinkets and rings. I was only missing the amulet and was getting hit for 250k - 2.2m sometimes in heroic dungeons by random mobs. The scaling is just really bad right now
I don't find any issues with "Gem Shuffling" I've had the same gems (more or less) in my armour for ages now (Prot Paladin) I'll not deny that the addon makes adding and removing them so much easier.
So, for the ones who didnt frog farm, where do i get my 40k bronze on new chars? do i need to do something first or get to some lvl or something? Cuz i just created one character and i visited 2 bazaars and no purple quest mark.
Okay.. so I haven't looked up anything on MOP Remix as I wanted it to be a surprise and I really just wanted some mounts I could never get in the retail game. I find it funny about the whole frog situation, but I am shocked at the sheer amount of 600k bronze to level up gear. I thought I was zooming with my 12k bronze and visiting each zones vendor. So now I'm very conflicted LOL I wanted to sink all my time into one character but that may not be the case if all I want is mogs and mounts.
I sunk all my time into a main, upgraded some gear, and bought out all but one mount today. There is a 40K catchup quest giving bronze I got today. I focused on mounts first. I do dailies and LFR. I might go for normals next. The second trinket was easy doing 3 scenarios. There is in raiding listing that indicates frogs or not, no clue if people are that bad on letting people in, 2 2 6 seems to be the 10man comp. I've been focused on the golden astral serpent and dailies versus more gear/raid progression (I might go for that later).
I’m still very upset that frog farmers were able to have a super cloak, upgrade their gear, buy most of the cosmetics, beat all of heroic and some mythic, and got exalted reps with the coins, all within the first week. That’s not fair in any regard.
What would be fair, then? Some sort of capped capitalist type system, where the strongest player can only progress a limited distance beyond the weakest player? "Jimmy doesn't want to play til Tuesday, so you'll have to wait for him to start before you reach level 70." Or do you want the frog nerfs undone, so you can farm frogs?
I had an insanely hard time doing heroic scenarios from 50-70, a few were dropped as the group just failed over and over and over. I started a warrior after getting my shaman to 70. My warrior soloed all the heroic scenarios and dungeons from 10-30. The scaling on low levels is nutty lol (Cloak to be fair)
I have sunk so much bronze into upgrading gear when I'm very much a cosmetic fiend which speaks to how much fun I'm having in this event but the pain is still there I have high hopes with how many improvements they have been adding but it kinda feels like this is just testing in the PTB but in live servers but at least they are taking quick action. (Hoping for a secondary cosmetic currency in the next one if we get one)
Just buying transmog and mounts with bronze. Have 3 level 70 and working on next 4 now. 40k bronze a nice bonus. If any left, then level gear but gear all temporary for Pandoria and gear will get replaced fast in War Within
Advice: Do what feels good. I'm going hard on one max character and when I've had enough I'm starting an alt. I got to 40 before I ever knew what happened and I was powerful. Then I went right back to pushing. I'm going through dungeons till I'm the level of the area I want to target for quest achievements.
I think when they do remix again they definitely need to make the upgrade currency and cosmetic currency two separate things. It would solve a lot of issues.
I have ran into the issue of not seeing any benefit to gearing out a level 70 it just seems like it's more worth it to just make a bunch of alts and get all of the armor sets and mounts that I can and just have a full set of level 70s rather than try to invest time into one character for raids that ultimately don't actually do anything for me
I'm very positive with a pre expansion of event any year that any of the characters from wow remix get looks good it's gonna be obsolete with the pre expansion gear.
Bought my last cloud serpent last night. The other mounts (havent even looked at toys) are either not as interesting to me OR they are ground means i wont even be able to use them effectively in TWW+ Sp ive npw started my equipment boosting grind. Turns out it takes 38.5k (the price of a single raid mount) per tier.
With all the Bronze they've sprinkled in lately, I don't think they need to nerf upgrade costs. I have not done a single hyperspawn farm and I expect to have my gear fully upgraded in one more week. Yes, it takes a little bit too much time but at least it has an expiration date. And Heroic raids drop more Bronze too! However, they should have some kind of account-wide achievement that unlocks discounts for your alts. At the very least one for maxing out your gear. I wanna play more than one character but I'm just not going to grind for another two weeks just to play ONE.
My complaint would be linking the neck to heroic raids. That's going to be the end for a lot of people. Any other achievement would have probably been better.
Didn't farm enough frogs to get my progress rolled back, killed too many frogs to get the free 40k bronze, even when my frog bronze haul was about 15k. So, either I level an alt in hopes of catching up, or I just give up now. I know it's my own fault, but god does it feel bad to fall in the middle.
Yeah it seems like the best way to farm bronze is by making a lot of alts, but I'd really rather just play MoP Remix with one or two characters, because I already have a ton of alts and don't need more. But if I do become a wet noodle at max level (currently level 49) then I may be "forced" to just go the alt route, because I am not going to spend bronze on gear upgrades.
"Boohoo, I'm weaker than people who play more frequently and invested their bronze into upgrading their gear! It's an exploit! Bug abusers!" ... I did maybe an hour of frogs, mostly solo waiting for queues. Imagine that, killing mobs in a game focused on combat. Such a monster. My cape prior to the nerf was about 40k stam, 3-4k stats. [Most of this came from doing every single quest, doing daily dungeon and heroic, doing every LFR and doing every raid basically every day, not frogs. Didn't even touch frogs til I was ~470 ilvl (on gear, not average) and well and truly level 70.. Maybe day 3?] They nerfed my cape, had almost no effect on my damage because the cape stats are massively outmatched by a full set of upgraded gear (~500 ilvl, out of 556) as well as the various gems (mostly tinkers) that scale with your gear as it is upgraded. One day of just playing the game later, doing LFRs, normal/heroic raids and world bosses, and my cape was back up to ~35k stamina and ~3k stats. Almost as if just playing the game causes you to progress. Almost as if upgrading your gear, letting you kill things quicker, lets you progress quicker. *Funny that* ... almost as if its an *intended feature* and now I'm just waiting for the next time they cave to people complaining about others actually playing the game and nerf my cape back, again. "I don't see any reason to upgrade my gear. Anyone with better stats than me must be a frogger, or an exploiter, or a bug abuser!" The value of item level is *exponential* - that means the value of upgrading a piece of gear goes up every time you upgrade it. The difference between a 346 weapon and a 360 weapon, compared to a 542 weapon and a 556 weapon is *astronomical* and it costs the same as upgrading from 346 to 360. Just ilvl 500 gear to ilvl 556 gear - 4 upgrades - is worth half the value of 346-500 ilvl - 11 upgrades. And then, on top of that, the number of players that sit around waiting for their loot... Every... Damn... Boss... Kill.. no wonder they fall behind. Once you've seen the loot window, you can move on. It'll catch up. LFR boss loot even gets mailed to you, feel free to ignore it. But wait, it gets worse, because they also stop at EVERY. DAMN. MOB. "We pulled a single mob. It has no mechanics. Gotta kill it before we move on." TL:DR If you can't keep up with a Death Knight as basically any other class (Looking at you, especially, monks and demon hunters)... You. Are. Playing. Wrong. TL:DR Upgrade your damn gear. Your cape *does not matter*
didnt frog farm and didnt get the bronze quests, meanwhile people I know got the quest and frog farmed for hours. 40k also isn't anywhere near the amount people got from frog farming so they're still way ahead... good job blizz
Nerfing upgrade cost would be way to late now imo, so many people (including me xD) sunk hundreds of thousands of bronze into that already. They should just make it so that the +XP% on the Cloak turns to +Bronze% at max level, like many people suggested already.

Awe , I’ve followed you for years and this is the first time I saw your face ❤
Thank you Hazel! Very helpful!
Thank you about the bag tip! I have been trying to figure out where to get them from ❤
Always has the information I didn't even know I needed. Thank You Hazel!
I can't get over how good your hair looks. Awesome video, thanks for all the info!
😅
I've made an alt who I'm about to do the raids with, just so my main can have a necklace. Makes sense! 😅
My wishlist is to make LFR count for that achievement.
What a fun event
also in regards to the bones, you need 42 for everything. Havent done mythic so not sure how much it drops, but normal drops one and heroic drops 4. (apparently mythic drops 10)
Thats 42 normal runs, or 10 Heroic runs + 2 Normal, or 4 Mythic runs + 2 Normal
Btw Heroic Raids gives you so much bronze. Just spent an hour and a half doing the first 3 raids on heroic (1 wipe to sha of fear) and got 14k bronze
Mythic drops 10 per.
just gotta do the entire raid 4 times on mythic! hell yeah!
Can confirm the free Bronze quests are available elsewhere. got mine at the temple of the white tiger
You can get quartermaster thingies on retail. I have them from there and didn't buy any on remix. IF you have the rep I guess. If you don't, oh well.
Spools alone dont really contribut emuch, its how high those frog farmers pumped their ilvl. It makes a difference in terms of being able to eat a failed mech or 2 though
I had narcissus before the patch and so I thought the gem manager was default not an addon
doing any of the special content with a fresh 70 seems very painful.
The scaling is just really bad right now
I don't find any issues with "Gem Shuffling" I've had the same gems (more or less) in my armour for ages now (Prot Paladin) I'll not deny that the addon makes adding and removing them so much easier.
well, I for one wish I could hide my pants and then just use the excuse they’re really there. you just can’t see them.
That's what I tell everyone on Zoom calls.
You can just tell people you shipped them. (RIP K-Mart)
So that's why the rings/trinkets/neck are in the store 👀
They were there before being account-wide, for different loadouts / specs.
QUESTION: Somehow I've missed this Frog Farming thing? What is that about?
So, for the ones who didnt frog farm, where do i get my 40k bronze on new chars? do i need to do something first or get to some lvl or something? Cuz i just created one character and i visited 2 bazaars and no purple quest mark.
The 40k is divided into 3 quests. The quests are for reaching level 50, 60, and 70.
whoa i thought the narcissus UI was ingame design... now im wondering why it isnt
Okay.. so I haven't looked up anything on MOP Remix as I wanted it to be a surprise and I really just wanted some mounts I could never get in the retail game.
"Jimmy doesn't want to play til Tuesday, so you'll have to wait for him to start before you reach level 70."
Or do you want the frog nerfs undone, so you can farm frogs?
@@SupachargedGaming simple. An actual roll back to Frog farmers; stats, gears and cosmetics purchased with bronze from the frog farm.
Any good transmog addon?
"All the Things" seems completely broken.
Well they got to keep all their max upgraded items. So in the end, a slight nerf on the cloak does not really do much.
All that frogness - Brings a whole new meaning to 'hyperspawn'....
I'm amazed how many people are playing remix. What am I missing? Was no one else around for MoP?
well i have had a dungeon group with a pally with 50K stats, so i dont think its fully gone into effect
(Hoping for a secondary cosmetic currency in the next one if we get one)
reduce cost of upgrades based on thread count
Just buying transmog and mounts with bronze. Have 3 level 70 and working on next 4 now. 40k bronze a nice bonus. If any left, then level gear but gear all temporary for Pandoria and gear will get replaced fast in War Within
Advice: Do what feels good. I'm going hard on one max character and when I've had enough I'm starting an alt. I got to 40 before I ever knew what happened and I was powerful. Then I went right back to pushing. I'm going through dungeons till I'm the level of the area I want to target for quest achievements.
If pleasantness took physical form, it would be Hazel.
I am struggling on my second toon to get enough and useful tinker gems. Any ideas?
buy them at the bazar 300 bronze for a rnd one.
I think when they do remix again they definitely need to make the upgrade currency and cosmetic currency two separate things. It would solve a lot of issues.
Froggers weren't nerfed. Still very broken
Still can't hide weapons, along other limits in mogging them
whats the addon called?
Narcissus.
Bought my last cloud serpent last night. The other mounts (havent even looked at toys) are either not as interesting to me OR they are ground means i wont even be able to use them effectively in TWW+
Sp ive npw started my equipment boosting grind. Turns out it takes 38.5k (the price of a single raid mount) per tier.
I honestly forgot that the bank exists in remix until this video, lol. I know what I'm doing next.
They can always start new life in FARM Simulator 22.
My complaint would be linking the neck to heroic raids. That's going to be the end for a lot of people. Any other achievement would have probably been better.
Thank you Hazel :)
Narcisus is the MVP of MoP Remix!
I'm here for the Frogress joke
Didn't farm enough frogs to get my progress rolled back, killed too many frogs to get the free 40k bronze, even when my frog bronze haul was about 15k. So, either I level an alt in hopes of catching up, or I just give up now.
I know it's my own fault, but god does it feel bad to fall in the middle.
Gems don't show soulbound but can't mail them. Getting good gems for all those new alt slots is so tempting to burn bronze on.
Dunno if you've seen, but Blizzard said that there are no plans to lower the costs of upgrading.
Great, but thumbs up for Frogress atone.
Dang. Blizz out here just being straight disrespectful to those who like to grind.
Who likes to grind???😭
Hmm I haven't seen the Frogers nerf. I have been in raids where people are still doing 10x - 20x damage or soloing the bosses.
"Boohoo, I'm weaker than people who play more frequently and invested their bronze into upgrading their gear! It's an exploit! Bug abusers!"
...
Question: For 10.2.7, Blizzard announced a new holiday event. Unless I've already missed it: any guesses? =^..^=
Cloak should be universal between all characters.
Nerfing upgrade cost would be way to late now imo, so many people (including me xD) sunk hundreds of thousands of bronze into that already.
They should just make it so that the +XP% on the Cloak turns to +Bronze% at max level, like many people suggested already.
I still see a lot of op ppl. Did an lfr where a guy was doing 90k dps second closest was doing 8k
I farmed frogs for maybe 3 hours... but I got a huge buff.. I had 700k hp on my druid and logged in to 1,1 million hp and all my stats up about 800 points each.. was pretty sweet
Which implies you still have all your lesser charms. Go hand them in, reveal yet another flaw in this cape nerf. You'll be a god.
I would spend my bronze on gear, but I don't have all the mounts yet
Am on my last mount. I think it's okay to buy mounts first. You get a quest for 40K bronze at some point, so I just have one to go doing dailies etc. I only have the second trinket.
