      @@astralbeatz9950 because the actual number has no significance it's really within multiples of 5 for example doing your 5 rep max 10 rep max or 15 rep max for 10 sets would have drastically different changes, don't do that by the way unless you have a month to recover lmao

    Training/learning aid for the Champion Stride: tape out a longer version of a set of hopscotch boxes. Put an L or R in the single boxes to cue the athlete which foot to land on in that box. Food for thought.

    Hi where im from wrestlers do hindu pushups (dands) and squats in the 1000s in the form of sets and for bodyweight training and rope climibing , do you think this routine could be incorporated for someone at NCCA or olympic wrestling

    • @GarageStrength
      @GarageStrength  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      There is definitely validation from that type of training, but it is also good to add explosive movements like Olympic Lifts and Dumbbell training for pummeling

But…I am going to have to ease into some of this….before I surprise him..I have already list about 100 Lbs., and want to lose about 40 more.

    Hello. Very nice video, congratulations !
    I have a few questions and I will be glad if you answer them.
    What should be the rest between sets and what should be the rest between exercises?
    When is it good to train for explosive power if we train twice?
    In the morning, if we train purely strength with barbells, can we train explosive strength in the afternoon? Or explosive strength in the morning and barbells in the afternoon is the better option?
    Also if we are training for speed endurance, which would be better in the morning... Explosive power or speed endurance?
    Or if we decide to train speed and explosiveness in one day, which will come first?
    And finally, can we do the exercises for the lower part in one workout?
    thanks in advance :)

    Hi, Dane! Just wanted to say I’m a huge fan. I’m a golfer (hence the name haha) but I started weight training this year and fell in love with it. Do you think training similar to a shot puter could help cultivate power in my golf swing since it’s rotary as well?

    • @Messup7654
      @Messup7654 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes but golf is more technique you’d have to strengthen the shoulder deltoid muscles that’s the only thing that can help your legs are strong enough only thing more is getting more stabile i guees but that’s probably technique wise rather than power

    Idk if you’ll see this but I’m in a weird situation. I’m an infielder for a college baseball team, and my coach has stressed to me that I need to get faster. I’m basically the slowest guy on the team and he says he just can’t consistently start someone that slow. I’m good enough to start but it’s just my speed holding me back. I’m 6’1” 195 and I run an 7.9 60. 3 years ago I was 6’1” 170 running a 7.5 60. I’m definitely intrigued by some of the programs you have that I can do this summer. But what do you suggest I do with my weight?

    • @silverscythe3423
      @silverscythe3423 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I should also note that I’ve dropped weight from 180 to 160 before so I know how to lose weight effectively. I just don’t know the most efficient way to balance that with getting stronger and faster. Any help is much appreciated!
