I finally picked up this game last month for £3.99 on Steam, lots of fun, but I can't believe that I can't select which map I want to play, very frustrating! Hope this is fixed in the next BF.
imagine, we had to beg for a scoreboard for months. Hopefully they won't deviate from the basic BF features again (actually these are core FPS game features).
@@Nivelle_le_Gris for custom made portal servers only. Unfortunately, people r using it for xp farming mostly, instead of making proper servers. And even if they make one, they used to be empty, because noone is looking for them, everyone is just using matchmaking...

I agree it's OP but I think it may make Dozer completely useless. Before this he was only countered by incendiary and syrette darts on the ground. I never use AP rounds and switching to them just for 1 enemy would be a problem
@@grimnir27 You get 3 ammo types whats the problem? Also, most players that play Dozer play him all the time, so when you see that person in the server, just be prepared.
On CQB maps this change means nothing, as you gotta be completely retarded either to bring AP ammo into the battle or start to load them when you see dozer. In non-cqb maps dozer's shield is quite limited, it's not a problem to take him out in most of places of the big map.
To get a true test of what new features will play like for the new battlefield game they should coincide it with a free weekend. Nothing tests new features like new players do.
I would like if they would fix some of these long time bugs like the UI icons not loading, Lis missile not working in coop/solo mode (camera glitch) and now they introduced this new aiming down scope bug where it doesn't aim the whole screen. DICE really needs to iron out these problems.
Another idiotic move by DICE when they removed cqb & 128 conquest modes from the menu. No quick redacted - no game for me. The fact that Delta Force is coming very soon only makes this decision even more idiotic. Well, DICE IS DICE.
I sincerely hope that in the next forthcoming Battlefield cross-play between Xbox and PC is removed or at least optional. If optional I hope that players aren’t forces to join cross-play servers like now just to find a decently player populated server!
When waiting for next match I've been getting knocked out to the home screen, or going into new match get black screen for few seconds then back to start screen, on ps5, maybe fix this? 🤔

I think I have some pretty good set-ups which I would be very curious to see what you think. The experience codes are ABUXK8 for VTDM and ABWDGU for TDM. Both of these examples are Valparaiso. Some features in the TDM it has a team swap function with random parachute drop for infantry. When on the ground vehicles can be called-in. The VTDM does not have team swap function but it has vehicles. Both maps incorporate 4 enemy MCOMs that must be destroyed in order. One must be destroyed before the next MCOM shows up. They have 45 - 30 MCOM fuses which makes defending them interesting. For testing I have advanced AI. Anyway, I'd very much like for you to try them and get your feedback as in all honesty I have more time invested than I care to admit. Thanks Cad
Ironically one thing that would get me to reinstall as stupid as it is, is changing the Vector subsonic magazine to be the proper sized 30 rounder. It's an aesthetic thing that's bugged me for ages.

Unfortunately, the game has become unplayable for me. And it seems to be for a reason that will not be resolved and doesn't get much mention. EA AC is messing with my system since about June. Rendered Armoury Crate unusable (set CPU temps to 0C). Then the Halloween event introduced random stuttering. Then the other day, playing against bots to get the ribbons for the unlocks, it just rebooted my PC. Isn't something that occurs with any other game. Genuinely worried that whatever EA keeps doing is going to result in hardware damage. The game was perfectly fine for all the time I've owned it until the past few months following EA Anticheat's release, and even on release of that it wasn't too bad. Now it feels like my PC, just over a year old, will forever be hampered by any EA game going forward that uses EA AC 😥
I wish I could get AI on my squad(and you could control/give them orders) and not humans. 90% of the meds I get from AI. 90% of ammo I get from AI. About 95% of the time my squad mates spawn somewhere else and not on me.
LOL. DICE "cooking". 😂 I suspect that just means they'll throw whatever they have in the microwave, only for them to leave it too long and still come out underdone.
Dice have *_never_* properly fixed the issue with aim assist where in certain circumstances the cross hair gets involuntarily dragged off target by criss crossing players or bots in front, particularly in darker areas or doorways. At times its ridiculously strong and makes aiming virtually impossible. And hit reg is _still_ ropey on occasion. AND the scopes don't always zoom in properly. AND you can get run over by vehicles with no sound while I'm wearing studio reference headphones ffs. Fix basic game mechanics? Nah, we'll just keep tweaking character abilities instead, easy win. Keep up the good work Dice testers 🤦
Wish they would just Dump load all the good bf2, 3 and 4, maps into update 8.4. Hope your you tube algorithms are back, since the Hacking event. I have been liking old videos as much as i can, hahaha.
We gotta see how this feels in practice but this change could make Dozer obsolete. If you can't rely on the gadget, its not worth using. There is no way for you to tell if the shield will protect you or not.
if the dozer was already little used, now better to leave it in a box, this update could have come later.... I do not understand this, I hope that with the next battlefield these things do not happen.

Have you played bf5 recently ? there are like 20 server and all are 64/64 players .And in 2042 on the other hand i get lobbys with bots in it , so yeah you can do the math Bf5 is far from dead , there are many new players aswell .

This is a 30GB update...! and you can shoot through Dozer's shield. WTF. with 30GB's I would have thought there would at least a new map.

Do you have 13600+ or 14600+? There was a technical bug inside them, you have to update your bios to fix that.
