The other thing is that I really wish to learn, I put the TV on a portuguese program when I am at home and even if I don’ learn a lot of words I got the idea behind pronuntiation for some words. 😀 Thank you so much and have a great week!

Love all your videos. My wife and I are considering moving to Vila Real Santo Antonio. We are planning a trip in May of 2021. Is a car needed to get around town? Do locals and expats really need cars? Or is it a town where you can just about walk to everything.
Thank you! If you are staying only in town most sure you don’t need a car. For visiting you may also use the train. A car will be usefull if you want o visit more of Algarve or Portugal or even Spain. Good luck with the move! 👍😊

It's not busy at all comparing to other years when in Algarve you cannot move on the streets, it's that crowded! But also this is due to the fact that we are naturally seeking places that are not so full of tourists. For example in Albufeira I expect to be more people. I fell very safe, maybe even safer than back at home in Romania (in Romania we have a very low rate of infection but there i live in a capital, so more risky). Everywhere the people are taking care, wearing masks and in all stores they take care that you disinfect the hands BEFORE entering the store - each store does that. BUT - I saw some unpleasant things too - like spiting on the floor, not distancing - and they were not Portuguese people! they were not tourists either - just people living here - i guess you find that type of people everywhere in the world, you just have to keep your distance.
That's why l prefer VRSA, as it's not so touristy. But you can get on the train/bus/ferry, or car and be somewhere else nearby that is just as lovely then go back to VRSA.
Could you please write the names of the towns you visited? I couldn't catch them from listening. Thank you. Beautiful video. I really enjoy your content. It's very helpful as I plan to move to Portugal in 1-2 years.
