Definitely storage space of some sort above the toilet. Floating shelves or a cabinet that stylish. I love the way you did the bathroom. I think it’s so modernized and bright and airy and spacious and thank you for finally letting us see the end result. It’s amazing and the fruit of your effort is evident by the smiles on your face.

Love your bathroom!! I really love how you combined both modern and rustic styles together. I suggest the floating shelves above the toilet. And an art piece on the side wall.
STUNNING 🤩 So worth waiting for. And I’m with everyone else, some storage above the toilet. Although I’m partial to a white cabinet with frosted glass doors with gold handles/knobs. Prevents needing to keep open shelves dusted and cleaned, and minimises the risk of anything falling into the loo ☺️👍🏼
Vote for above the toilet space: 2 floating shelves in the same wood you have on your floors elsewhere in the house

Love that the first video of the new year is the bathroom reveal!! In the empty space above the loo maybe some open shelves that are an l shape from the corner wall to the back wall to allow more storage, but can double as 'decor'. Looking forward to the vlogs coming back💞

Love your style, so minimalist and elegant, yet cozy and inviting. If you want to store things you don't want to see, a shallow cabinet with doors over the toilet would work, or three offset floating ones if you to be able to see the items, with art on the door wall of course. I love the tray on your tub, was that something we could get in the states? Also, lovely seeing you in a new video!
I’d put a hanging plant in the corner above the toilet and then you could add a little shelf, art or cupboard above the toilet itself 🪴 looks beautiful!

Beautiful job.❤ Gold hexagonal floating shelves would look nice above the toilet to match the floor tiling and color scheme. Maybe some inspirational thought for wall art. Also I found with salt lamps, they need to stay on 24/7 so they don't leak.

Another vote for adding storage above the toilet, but I also wanted to add that maybe a combo mirror-shelf situation might help make that space seem bigger. Either a mirror with 1 or 2 shelves below it or a small cabinet with a mirror on the door!

I would do a full shelf/cabinet over the toilet, rattan or wood would look so nice and add depth of color and texture with all the white. As you host more it will be helpful to have more storage for your guests as well. Definitely use the space you have!
I agree, it needs a touch of wood or something brown, rattan would work but I personally like wicker better.

Love it! I think some shelves over toilet would look nice. Maybe open shelves in a stained wood would pull in the color of the shampoo bottles. You could use it for towels or put baskets on shelves for storage.
What if you did 2-3 floating shelves that wrap around the corner and cover both walls? L-shaped shelves. Lots and lot of storage/decorating/plant space. :)
Looks so beautiful and really makes me want to renovate my smaller old bathroom! It’s one of the only rooms in my house I didn’t renovate and I’m just so intimidated by the cost of plumbing
you should totally get a vintage hatch for over the toilet to bring in more of that rustic/farmhouse flare that you're trying to incorporate. that would bring a lot of warmth into that bathroom as well :)
I think I would do a built-in shelving unit, from floor to ceiling, surrounding the toilet, for storage. I wish I could upload a photograph here of what I have in mind, but if you look at space saving storage cabinets above toilets- on Pinterest, you will find it! I would do something flat- fairly close to the wall, so that it doesn’t feel overly obtrusive. Which is why I would do it from floor to ceiling so you can really maximize the storage space. And if you do it well, it can look like an art piece in itself! Also, I would make sure that most of it is closed storage, so you can’t see anything (which as you know, makes a space feel cluttered). White in color so it blends in with the wall. Maybe with frosted glass paneling or stain glass panels. But maybe have a little alcove space in the middle, above the toilet, where you could put an art piece, with Lighting right above it to highlight it….. OR, you could also do lots of built-in storage along the entirety of the wall where the door opens into the bathroom. That way you can’t see it until you’re in the bathroom. And if you do it well, it could be really pretty and look like an art piece too! Also, if you didn’t want to do built-in shelving long, the entirety of the wall- you could just do one or two large shelves that span across the wall horizontally, above the door- which could be a really pretty raw wood, with woven baskets to store items- so it looks like an art piece too.

Yes lighter colors definitely help to make the space feel more open and airy!
I have a white cabinet with glass doors, two shelves and a towel rod underneath. It allows you to put items on the top of it, the two shelves for candles, special him/her fragrances, or elegant canisters to house cotton balls/q-tips. It is a versatile and perfect for above the toilet. I’ll see if I can take a send a photo. It could be homemade I bet as it is nothing elaborate, but it is wonderful to have. Your Reno was wonderful to watch and the results are phenomenal! I just LOVE the sink, faucet and the mirror. Actually I love every inch of it ❤

Yeah I was gonna suggest a shelf with a couple of odor absorbing plants, so you get nice green plants (eye candy) and fresher air (nose candy), win win.
I know over toilet storage units might be a bit bulky and fussy for some, but perhaps check out Mitre 10 for industrial shelving (with timber shelves) you could adjust to your needs. You could always spray paint the metal a matte gold.

I know you just finished your walls but put shelves in the wall similar to the shower and have a piece of art as a door to cover win win
Above the toilet you should do x2 white floating shelves and then put two small baskets on top which can you could stack toilet paper and toilet spray and the other basket could have hand and face towels neatly rolled up like a spa
My personal opinion for the space above the toilet is to either leave it as it is now (it looks fine to me) or maybe add one piece of art work to fill up the space. No shelves or cupboard is necessary in that space. WHY? because someone can easily hit their head while sitting on the toilet - especially a child!! And if you guys do eventually have kids - you dont want them to be hitting their heads!!

Beautiful bathroom but you will hate the white grout on the floor when it catches some dirt. Never White grout on the floor. Also I think that a shower handle (I am not sure how to call it, the part that you can move, not the head) woul be grat as it helps with bathtub cleaning.
With the space over the toilet I would do floating shelves with industrial brackets or hang a tapestry
