What a fabulous ride. And such a package of performance and style. Totally thrilling, just got to hand it to you, Jay. That’s the perfect description. And thanks for the genuine enthusiasm shown for Betz and the gracious plug for the book. Gift for a gearhead’s coffee table, for sure. But personally, as killer as this car is, my crotch longs to be ensconced in that Lotus restoration, enjoying a similar open-air feeling. That frame-off restoration, and engine rebuild by a former Lotus team member just was the coolest, cleanest, strippedl-to-the-basics, then burnished to a glow almost palpable, turns MY crank. That simpler design, not to mention the beautiful labor of love on the bring-back, no top, normally aspirated, sequential Tremec box, just lots of fun, competitive, yet streetable without much fuss. What a combo! Of all the cars I’ve seen featured, and all are interesting in their way, some wildly desirable (and finicky) the little Lotus would be my dreamy, creamy choice. Happy New Year and Happy Motoring to one and all. “Keeping the Shiny Side Up”
NOT a 1993 Buick. It's a 1977 Buick, which was once a daily driver. The current daily driver is a 2011 Chevy Impala. The Buick is unrestored, and is mostly used for shows and cruise nights. It has won awards including three times at national events. I would prefer to show up in a 1970 GSX Stage 1, but those rare Buicks are worth at least as much as my house. Not many of us car guys can collect like Jay you know, but at least we get to see the cars, thanks to collectors like him. Thanks Jay, and the rest of you guys who keep these cars alive.
+Fred and Debra MacDonald Was this comment supposed to be added to another video ? What does this have to do with Aston Martin and the car in this video ?
Obviously a reply to another video, but I'm having a senior moment, and can't remember which one. More like two years ago, not two months ago though. Don't you just love computers?
This is one of the best episodes ever! Julian Jenkins, Dr. Ulrich Bez and Jay Leno - three of the classiest, most passionate car guys on earth and Jay is right at home in any setting! It's truly amazing what Dr. Bez has done for A.M.! When I was 15 or 16 The DB5 from Goldfinger the 007 movie, was on display at a local shopping center. That was a very exciting thing to see! Anyway, Great presentation Jay! I think a CC100 would make a great addition to your garage!
I've had two BMW Z1s, 5 993s and was lucky enough to meet and spend a bit of time with Bez. He's a very nice guy. I spent most of my time discussing the manual gearbox with him. He didn't really see the need for keeping it, and I did my best to impress upon him that he was 100% wrong.
That’s it! That’s the last time I lend my cars to Aston-Martin. They didn’t tell me Jay was going to be driving it in the LA traffic. You’re welcome, Jay!
I'll tell you I like this jaylenosgarage Jay if this is you man you are the best bro . You can learn a lot on your videos thank you please keep sending them
Jay, It would be nice to see your reaction behind the wheel of a One-77. Hopefully you can be lucky enough to do so and film it. Looking forward to the possibility.
He already did, I just don't think it was uploaded to youtube. Google jay lenos garage Citroen and you'll find that vid on his website, it's a pretty slick car, way ahead of it's time.
Jay I would love to spend the day with you in your garage, who cares about Disney World!! And your right Jay this car should be in your garage and the blue one beside it should be in my garage!!
Jay Leno... single handedly keeping the denim industry alive.
Lol, I'm not sure. I think it's the same shirt and jeans he's been wearing for 25 years.
and jeremy clarkson
😂
He inspired to go pick some up today
Yup
I saw this car today at alhamra tower here in kuwait and it looks spectacular in person! The lines and the curves made my mouth water
Dr. Ulrich Bez looks so happy to be in the company of Jay Leno, I can only imagine how he felt when Jay called him a hero.
Both Dr. Ulrich Bez and Jay Leno are my heroes!!
What a fabulous ride. And such a package of performance and style.

Fred and Debra MacDonald Haha, yes I do. Funny!
I like the way that Dr Ulrich Bez shoes are the same shade of yellow as the yellow stripe along the side of the Aston Martin 100 concept car.
Oh man this car is drop dead beautiful and that v12.. Hopefully some day.
Coolest car I've ever seen. The developer is a modern day car hero.

Loved the whole thing -- the interview with Dr. Bez, the tour of the concept car, and actually seeing it on the road! Wonderful!
one of the most beautiful cars i´ve ever seen.
That car is just... Wow!
The grin on Jay's face in the first few seconds says it all
this has to be one of the most incredible looking manufacturer cars ever to drive on public roads
Jay Leno, still the #1 salesman in the World.
I was lucky to see the CC100 in person during Car Week! It was on display in the middle of Carmel, California.

This car is simply beautiful, and the color is amazing on it. I'd take it over a Ferrari or Porsche, or Lamborghini any day.
18;05...the jetliner's engines throttling down just as Jay comes to a stop...perfect timing...LOL
Jay has the only pass to not get a ticket......God Bless you Jay Love the vids

the guest is dressed very nicely.. his clothes are simple but appear to be of high quality and fit him well.
love the way you put the phone down Jay. haha sly!
"Oh it is a customer's car?"
Continues to lean on it.
Jay: Weight?
"Over 2 Tons"
Jay: *cough*
It's a beast. Needs another war to keep the tank full.

RATHER THAN MONEY??? That is so key! So awesome!!!!!!!
That was a fun episode!
A quintessential British Car with German boss
Couldn't get my eyes off of the Citroen in the back. Still looks so futuristic. Jay, could you please showcase that French car?
epitome of a beautiful car.
Thank you for sharing! What an amazing car :)
♥ Aston Martin ♥
With a car like that the long way home is always the short way home!
Free insect snacks follow the purchase.
Lmao
Thanks again, Jay.
pretty nice
Those mirrors are huge!
The One-77 is Aston Martin's finest looking car.
I agree with that.BTW,I am replying after more than 4 years
💯
that thing is a beauty, wow
It looks like it is going 180 mph standing still!
Naming their special projects division "Q" was obviously a James Bond reference... Glad Jay pointed that out, haha.
Jay Lenos garage is great!
I don't care if I have a dodge viper or a 59 ford with a strait axle front end I always take the long way home I just love to drive
how can anybody possibly give this car a thumbs down?
Wicked!
Great video guys!
Thanks.
I love Aston Martin cars.
44 people don't like this video at this point. What is there not to like about these 2 Aston Martins. God probably drives an Aston Martin.
Jealousy cause they can't have one, but a car made in Heaven
God drives a DB7... he likes to feel like his James bond when out for a drive on a Sunday just like the rest of us...
electronics, leather everything in the interior. Power everything, that stuff all adds up.
sweet concept ! thanks fro sharing
Thanks for posting!
Gorgeous.
so beautiful
Jay, you look so nervous waiting to talk...kick back and let the guy do his spiel.
thats passion boiling, chill out and take a seat son
Marc Phillips Lol, he's a talk show host and big time comedian; he was definitely not nervous.
Ilove the front bumper
I'll tell you I like this jaylenosgarage Jay if this is you man you are the best bro . You can learn a lot on your videos thank you please keep sending them
Jay leno é a melhor coisa que já aconteceu comigo
Fellow in my subdivision just had an A-M Vanquish of a 2003 vintage. The deliverer had to offload a Lamborghini first and I got to watch all this.
It is a stunning vehicle.....
Pretty design its not bug friendly or rain friendly but its a great looking car awesome colors!
I love how much Jay and his Jersey/Philly accent and manner contrast with that elegant British guy. 'Merica.
Buy that Jay, would be a star in your collection.
Is that a Citroën SM in the background? It's beautiful!!
exciting stuff
made my morning :P
i was damn impressed by zenvo (founded by jesper jensen) also when i saw it on here, the danish car company
Love that car
DR. Bez is the hero of making cars
Owned by Andy Peters apparently. The BBC has been kind to him.
Jay, It would be nice to see your reaction behind the wheel of a One-77. Hopefully you can be lucky enough to do so and film it. Looking forward to the possibility.

damnnnnn. they should have shown the rear more, it was very nice as well
Jay I would love to spend the day with you in your garage, who cares about Disney World!! And your right Jay this car should be in your garage and the blue one beside it should be in my garage!!
this would make an awesome batmobile! Reminds me of the original one.
Nice north face jacket interior!
If I believed in reincarnation, I would want to come back as a cross between Hugh Hefner and Jay Leno,, the best of both worlds.
The next generation of the stirling moss, just beautiful
Damn that is nice. Makes me want a 2 eleven.
