I don't understand why we never got beginner-friendly skateparks here in the Netherlands. They just build a massive bowls, add random stairs or ramps at like 40 degree angle and so on. No wonder the parks are abandoned, yet the government still wondering why. When I see this skatepark in Sydney it makes me slightly jealous. Looks fun! I wanna join in lol.
Yeah it sucks when the council doesn't know what they're doing and they just build what they see professionals skating lol We are so damn lucky here in Sydney, that's for sure!
@@LeonPaxton you are not going to believe it dude … i had a good fall on them again last Friday 🤦♂️🤦♂️ this time they are a bit more messed up. Just sneezed for the first time since …. Felt like an axe hit me. I got an emu egg shortly after seeing you guys. The thing is magic. Now i just gotta play the patience game… which i am crap at😤
Looks pretty fun. Did you check out the new/ rebuilt park close by a Narara? There was a park with bowl at Kariong previously closer to the main road, from memory you had to trek across the oval to get to it.
I live in Newcastle, Australia and it's shit here. I've been skating for about 20 years and only just starting to see some half decent parks popping up here and there in the last few years.
Im still not confident going to parks as im re learning to skate after 10 years 25 now and feel embarrassed as I can barley ollie. Loved one of your videos about larger deck sizes and I took your advice and went for an 8.5 and it feels miles better than my 8.25 and I reckon I could even go to 8.75. So thank you for that!
@@Blondly you got this !! Im coming back after 34 years. Everyone is super cool to help out… dont let confidence halt having a good time and progressing … we all have to start at the beginning ( or a new beginning). Get out there and just roll the parks … its amazing what you can pick up from just watching and learning! 🫶🫶
@@bennyg949 Thanks man. Trying hard to get over the lack of confidence in myself so I can go out and have fun. I think about skating every waking day but always held back by my own mind.

Convic design - $600k
Sick! Where did you find that out?
Google “kariong skate park convic” for some reports and councils have budgets and meeting minutes online if you dig.
Oh sick, thanks dude! No wonder the park is so good since Convic did it lol

Did you get the gold 10"?
@@LeonPaxton nah. Got the 9.25. Just a perfect fit for me. Got some x99 bones wheels coming. Interested to try them as I mostly ride 97s
Sick! Hopefully those ribs heal up quick and you can get out there and shred it 🤞🏽

I skated there once when it first opened but I definitely need to get back out there because that park was super fun!
That looks so fun! The gap 50-50 gap on the quarter was sick!
It was actually the most fun I'd had at any skatepark for so long!
Thanks dude 🙏🏼
Love the reviews and your format mate. Keen for a review of Gipp st at Claremont Meadows.
Thanks dude! Just dropped that video this morning too 🥳

Some of the funniest parks are the smallest ones. Especially solo sessions when Ur not really good 😂
Gap to bs 50/50 🔥🔥
Thanks dude, that first one hurt though! lol
check out gipps street recreation precinct in claremont meadows
Got a video on that place dropping this week 🥳
Looks fun if no kids are riding their bikes on it plus that long curb 🤤
It's worth going to for that curb alone 😍
i swear to god Australia gets the best skateparks
Not just Australia, but all of this is in one state lol

Bro how do you live so close to so many skateparks
This one was about 2hrs away but there are so many good parks in NSW lol
Have you seen a skatepark more fun than this?

We had Leon Paxton's AI avatar voice doing the audio on this one...
The audio was so whack on this one but I tried to fix it 😂
😅 I was thinking you might have edited this on the road - all good man - keep up the epic work!!
I was wondering how many people would pick up on the dodgy audio lol

I say that so it makes more sense to my international audience. All the Aussie's know lol
