Maybe it was just when it released because it is an old kit but I recently purchased Hasegawa’s 1/72 A7 Corsair and the fit was.. horrible, moulding was so bad, and the cockpit well.. wasn’t a cockpit, it was just a square of plastic with a very bad “seat”. No decals for it or painting, because there was no instrument panel.. and the whole kit was just a big mess of fixing up parts, but I haven’t purchased any of their kits since, are the newer ones better?
According to scalemates.com the A7 Corsair Hasegawa kit is an 1967 mould. And later it was only reboxed. If that's true, then it is probably a piece of crap by todays standards. Good luck with the build!
