Respect. A real labour of love. I did a full restoration of a 1948 MG TC which was nowhere near as complicated as this job and know just how much effort goes into this sort of undertaking. Did you ever tell the wife how much it really cost?
That was just beautiful to watch, having helped restore a few vehicles from bare metal I can appreciate the months if not years of that work that has gone into that restoration, well done.
Amazing job - I wished I had the skills, the ability, the time and oh, the money, to do a project such as this. An iconic car returned to life! Well done.
Beautiful car and an equally beautiful restoration. Would love to have an opportunity to drive a car of that caliber. Love to hear and feel that V12 sing her magical melody.
To you but, I enjoyed each & every moment & couldn't wait to see what was next 😊💣🔥!!! Brilliant workmanship !!! Oh & as far as choice of music 🤔!? It set the tone for the level of involvement 😊💖!!! And to those who didn't like the background turn-off the sound as previously stated 🤡 !!!
Worked with Dick Thompson and we did all the work for St Petersburg Sports Car Center who were a large Jaguar Austin Healy Dealer in the late sixties and early seventies. A big place in my heart for V12 Jags.
Yes I had a 1970 v-12 back in the 70’s fire engine Red sold it in the late 90’s and tripled my money on it .The car was All a stock in perfect condition had 23000 miles on it!!
Excellent job chaps. This rescued E Type ended up better than new. This wasn’t difficult to achieve as they were dreadfully built in the first place. An odd anomaly really, perhaps the world’s most beautiful car ever designed built by the worst workforce who simply couldn’t care less. Life’s odd ain’t it.
@@marcomalo02 having owned Mopar E-bodies, I can say that poor build quality happened in the US as well. Beautiful, but scrappy... Still, I loved them! 😇
@@juanitooctavio9023 Not saying that all American made cars are flawless, but it seems that the British cars imported here are not well made and are plagued with problems, especially electronics-related. The Jaguar brand is historically notorious.
Great video, but ditch the oppressive music. I turned it off, but plenty of You tube channels are just using silence now. Masterful work on that beauty top credits. .
Duuude why not start the car for is, was waiting all the time to hear that V12 go shame 😢 but top restoration. This car is epic, the car of the master thief Diabolic, cartoon just as old as this car.
What an amazing job you did. The car is beautiful, and will hopefully be enjoyed for another 50 year run. Curious to know why the red primer and the white top coat reacted that way and caused that wrinkling in the white paint as it cured. The work to get the panel fit and gaps correct was brutal...good on you for taking the time to get it correct. Well done all around.
I would say that investing 100.000 Dollars or even more in a V12 coupé is not such a sound investment because these cars have not such a high value and they look fat and lazy compared to the Mk1
Lots of incomplete photos here, JUMPING from under coating scraped off to "finished!" - hard to tell what really happened here? Did anyone use metal prep or primer? Unable to watch the full video - as too many steps are not documented here...
great restoration, congratulations! Can I ask how much it cost to buy the car and then how much it cost to completely restore it? I mean the spare parts, labor excluded.
amount of work done was huge ,,,filming was only 4 experts ,,,cutting pictures was difficult to follow ,,,better to be a film including stages of exeuting the final job
Poor ,nothing but a series of still images joined together with annoying music playing in the background , no explanation as to whats happening or the thoughts behind the process just pointless rubbish this is.

The amount of work and patience and using the garage to save the car. Great Job and video.

I see you had as much fun getting your bonnet to fit as I did. 👍
That is a great project car and with no added patina! a real pleasure to watch serious work!
Enzo Ferrari called it the most beautiful sports car of all time
The monotonous sound was annoying.
Turn the speaker off 🤷🏻♂️

A true legend of the car world and wonderfully, NO, lovingly restored.
Champion - for final fit and finish those body panels really fought you and fought back as Victors. (good use for a PLUG)

Bizarre fact. But likely true for many outfits.
Management determines build quality.
From Kentucky USA...No argument with your comment. I've always wondered why British cars were so poorly built.

Good restoration but poorly presented video. No commentary and hideous music.
I veri restauri delle Jaguar si fanno a Voghera in Italia da Roadster
Was that a spark plug in the sump?!
At 5:26 ? I'm guessing it's used to temporarily plug or assess the size of the sump drain plug threads, as maybe the original was missing...
How many years did this restoration take ?
white ?
What fool let an E-type get that bad..
really did a number on your click bait cover photo huh
Sound track was terrible, I can’t watch this
Interesting but hopeless photography
A non AI general narrative would've been most welcome vs the nonsense muzak.....

Ainda bem que não tem mais aquele irritante efeito de zoom.
You show a white car then repair a green one !
This is about as interesting as watching paint dry. A bit of a shame really.
20 minutes of pictures? Is this a slide show in 1976? With bad music? It can’t be . . . I’m not wearing diapers.
C'est quoi ces patchs de soudure???
koszmarna muzyka...
Yes guys killed Peace out
Could not beat the straight six. V12 poor engine, to me over pistoned under powered
