You can make small wooden chests and leave them at potential base locations then round them all up once you're ready to go and build your proper base

You can change the Loot spawn rate in the ServerSettings Menu under Features, subcategory = Item Spawning = then change the setting Examine Spawner Probability Multiplier

Also you can rotate icons to make more things fit. Honestly dont remember the key combination for it. I think its shift and right click together

And this map is so huge that it would be a waste of time to make a base camp. Even with a vehicle it takes forever to get places. I always stayed mobile because once you start going into bunkers you will find the better loot and you'll want your mobile base of operation so you can trade out old equipment and weapons for the better ones you find. Lock picks and screwdrivers are a must. Keep them if you find them. You have to have both to pick lockers. You can also bury storage chests with a shovel. The big base in the north west at the top of the map is going to yield better guns and just better everything in general. Mechs roam inside that bunker, if you have mechs turned on. Basically learn there patrol patterns and move around to dif rooms when you can. Dang I forgot how awesome this game is

mmmhm, you are talking like they will just be ready for bunkers in a couple of hours. This person is still learning the very, very basics of the game, what is wrong with a base and slowly increasing the radius of exploration while learning the game... people forget what its like to be new.. Even while watching first hand. I have played a long time and bunkers are still a risk with the stupid unpredictable exploding puppets.

@@oynlengeymer2434 I'm not telling I'm suggesting due to the map size. And there is a lot of wide open empty spaces on the map. From experience it's better and way less work because building in this game is beyond tedious, is to just find a house or building close or in a big town and set up there. Your not gonna want to travel all the way back to a main base carrying all kinds of loot and hope you dont die. It's easier to stay mobile

U can make urself room by bundling all ur rags don’t forget to do that it will help u lots I’m just trying to help u out foolishgirl and u might want to start building a base and don’t forget to organize ur stuff that will help as well too

U can make or find multiple backpacks fill them with items and then drop filled backpacks into wheelbarrow or vehicle inventory. Or alternative is to build storage crates fill them up and drop them into your vehicles inventory. If I remember right you can have 4 or 5 crates stashed in vehicle inventory. So your increasing the amount you can lug around by 100000000000000000000000000
