They should provide QR code on boxes so that customers can easily make out immediately whether it’s fake or not
QR Code can be copied/pasted right ? Just like the batches are on fakes, QR Codes can be copied. Why would it make a fragrance authentic ?

This is great, you can hear the passion. "the bottom actually looks a helluva lot better than the top," hahahah . I suspect Hermes quality to be iffy on occasion, and once returned 4-15ml's as they seemed to have been on the usa shelf in poor conditions or something. It would be interesting to compare a few batches in side by side like this video :) Agar Ebene is my current fave. Good luck.

I just ordered and received a 100ml Terre d'Hermes Givree from Bergdorf Goodman. The bottle is clearly irregular. The bottom margin is at a distinct angle. I am returning it as defective. Has anyone encountered an authentic bottle that was irregular in any way?
I have terre d Hermes eau de toilette 200 ml ,I bought it from duty free about 120 $,its has same signs of the original as mentioned above except the reference number isn't etcher on box !?

I just got Terre D'Hermes EDT 100ml from a local reseller. The only 2 things that betrayed my bottle are: Lack of BATCH CODE on the bottom side of the face of the bottle (the batch is present on the pack), and the poor performance of the juice inside (the smell is also good). It only last for an hour or so on skin. But every other thing is perfectly OK compared to the original! Of course I'm returning it! Thanks a lot for the video sir.
New things can happen : maybe on newer batches Hermes decided to change the place of the etching. I did not look for new batches to know if they still place the batch in the exact same place mine is.
Is the local seller trusted ? What other fragrances is he selling ?

I wanted to do Sauvage Elixir real vs fake but I already saw that video on TH-cam so I don't feel there is something new I could add to that video.

I have the original of this, but the spray mechanism keeps not working {(bubbles inside the bottle). Anyone experience this with this cologne or others? How do u fix? I can't seem to unscrew it to transfer to another bottle.
If you are sure you will transfer it to another bottle use a plier to take out the atomizer in order to pour the juice in the other bottle.
If you bought it recently you can talk to the seller to send it bakc because of it's faulted atomizer.

Can you answer a question for me because the numbers on the bottom of the box confuse me a little. I bought this fragrance and used your video just to make sure it's authentic even though a lot of people and the website says it is authentic. On the bottom, there's the 'REF 20872' and also 'EACAL'. I'm new to learning how to check fragrance dates so I put in the '20872' and it said 2012. But when watching your video, you showed the batch code to be what would be the 'EACAL' for my bottle so I put that one in to check too and it said 01/2019. Does that mean my bottle was actually produced in 2019 and not 2012? Could you help explain the difference between the 'REF 20872' and the 'EACAL' codes on mine?

My batch is 1IAAC wich is an older batch.
Nevermind the REF 20872 from your box, that is not a batch code.
The batch should be both on bottle and box, the same always. So yours should be EACAL. I do not know if it should be 2019 batch because "checkfresh.com" or "checkcosmetic.net" are not always updated with the latest way the manufacturers batch their fragrances.

تامر ال جميح Aaa, I understand now. I did not know what "etcher" ment. It is ok to have Terre with printed batch code, those are also authentic. I have seen printed batch codes on Hermes boxes and they are authentic.

hi. i've purchased recently again terre hermes parfum version. however, i cannot somehow trace the batch code online, the code displayed is CCP. bought from notino. what are your thoughts on that? is this legit/real? usually 3-5 letters + 1-2 number must be visible, but here only 3 letters are stated. thanks
Anton Dlev from what I know the new batch codes from Hermes are different thqn the old ones, it will take time for websites like checkfresh to update the data base. So I think that is the case.

Anton Dlev I just got a bottle and my code is CIAAN. It is etched on the back of my bottle and indented on the bottom of the box. Don't confuse that with the reference number or Ref: 24578. Anyway my code comes up as September 2017 so its fairly new but that is still 6 months old. No idea if they've changed the codes on newer box's.

If you bought it from a shady online seller then you must report it to you local authorities and to Hermes as well. That should teach the crooks.

Printing a batch code on a fake is very easy, of course it can be done.
If you have doubts about the seller, skip him. Go for an authorised seller.
Also the bottle can be authentic but juice inside could be fake😮

The juice dripping from the atomizer is not a clue per se. My bottle is a 100% original and it drips a little as well.

Report the seller to Hermes. Also report to your local police department. They will file the complaint to the police department from where the shipping was done from.

I have one Kurkjean "copy" (Oud Silkmood) from Italy, wich is obviously an original juice, but diluted in half and bottled in such a almost real bottle& package! Some do a better job than others. I can not know what country manufactures better fakes than others. It depends on what quality they want to achieve and how much they spend in order to obtain the final counterfeit.

Honestly I don´t get what´s so great about this frag. I have a 5 ml EDT decant and it smells like a heavily scented cleaner with a super cheap orange aroma. It smells bad even for a cleaner LOL.
Smell is a personal thing, same thing can be liked by some and disliked by others at the same time.
@@tattoofun2003 One thing I must admit, it really lasts pretty long on my skin (and I used only two little test squirts on my hand). After 6 hrs a can still smell it anytime I pick my phone and type.
Aftet 4-5 hrs as a skin scent it got much better, really a manly fougere type of scent. But why wait so long when there are many fougere frags great straight away?
@@tattoofun2003 I´m not sure if I got a fake Edt sample (which smells really bad), because today I got the EDP sample and it smells nice. It has that bitter orange scent, but smells richer, much less piercing and maybe a bit woody. The Edp si really nice orange-woody freshie.
So you're essentially telling the fake-makers what to fix :D
They already have the authentics when they are faking them. They already know the cuts they take in order to make the fakes.
It's all in the smell after all. They never get it 100% right. At best 85% but that remaining 15% are the little details that make the difference .
They can never make the authentic longlasting juice so the pathetic performance will be a dead giveaway

If they have the ability to make the juice and the bottle plus the packaging why dont these scammers just make their own perfume? And mimic designers if they want even big names copy each others notes. Just dont fool people
They don't make their own perfumes because it costs a lot to own a business, fakers don't pay taxes, they use already established brands names and logos so they can get profits at the expense of the fragrance houses they copy.

Bad video you only confuse people, you do not show the EAN, or the lot codes of the box or the serial numbers of the bottle and those codes can not be duplicated or altered if you google them and you know if the fragrance exists or not as they indicate the provenance and here you do not show this so your video does not provide a reality and I think it only confuses

The codes from the authentic can be duplicated on the fakes really easy ... by the way ... if the fake would have the same codes does not mean it is authentic.
