How did I not came across you for this many years I'm my blender journey, great work keep it up, I have been watching all of your videos, thanks for sharing
Love your aesthetic and artistic language, its much more fun to follow tutorials as an artist if the outcome is so stunning. You bring a whole new vibe into the blender tutorial scene that I wish to see more of!
Just finished doing your tutorial. The results are amazing. A HUGE thank you to you for making this great video and for sharing your knowledge. I am in awe at your skill and wonder how you trained yourself to get so good at GN?
I have over 10k hours in Blender and I've been learning Houdini for a few years now. I feel like Blender is going the right direction with Geo Nodes but it feels so unintuitive to work in Geonodes that I actually think it's easier to make something like this in Houdini. Hope that will change because modelling in general doesn't get more intuitive than it is in Blender.
Easier is a relative term, if you understand the nodes and how they interact they are only complex when one reaches the maximum of their knowledge. Houdini is an amazing effects and animation package but an awful modeler in my opinion, the renderer is slow in comparison to cycles as well. But having full renderman integration you can easily use it instead of mantra which is another level of difficulty initially.
Really beneficial from your tut, it always appears understandable when u explain those nodes. BUT what a pity is the complex version has no tuts! It will definitely take you much more time if you do the complex version tut, but for us it must be appreciative and helpful. Maybe a paid course or patreon only? Anyway, LOVE WHAY YOU DID AND THE WILLING TO SHARE SUCH GOOD STUFF!
