    This is the best version of this song! You're right, this is Bon Scott. I was 13yrs old when I first heard ACDC and I'm 59yrs old now and still listen to them. I love your reactions!!

      I personally think the version from Let there be rock the movie live in Paris is a better performance, the band was shit hot on that night, that movie got me playing guitar when I was 14 years old now I'm 50 and still love jamming out all their tunes on guitar, not sure if you've ever seen that movie but if you haven't I highly recommend it if you are a fan.

    Bon had an amazing unique voice. As much as Brian filledhis shoes after he passed it was never the same for me. Bon was born to be a rock singer. He had a great sound and the frontman swagger to captivate the audience.

      I don't know about AC/DC cover bands, but I've never heard of a singer that sounds like Bon. I wonder if there is one somewhere, it's so unique. I'm 48 years old. Heard Dirty Deeds very young 😁

    Bon Scott's timing, his phrasing if you will, is magesterial. Quite a wide vocal range. Nearly 4 octaves and raspy from low to high.

    In the summer of 78 we were shoehorning a V8 into a small Gremlin car, all of a sudden my cousin, Dickybird, slid into my driveway in his red 74 Vette, stood up through the removed T -Tops and yelled, at me,Hey, ! Zoro ! You wanna go see AC/DC and Cheap Trick ?"I threw the wrench down , hopped in, he handed me a cold brew,as he lit a doobie , and we peeled out and ... It was a BLAST !!!! I'm 68 .remember like it was yesterday..

    The Bon Scott era was an amazing one and Brian has done amazing since, much respect to that Diamond Geezer. A suggestion for you. Do a review of the 1976 album "Dirty deeds done dirt cheap". Any reactor that listened to the tune "Ain't no fun waiting round to be a millionaire" wanted to adopt it as their theme tune. We all understand the struggle and sacrifices to achieve greatness in the eyes of the Sheeple and can relate to this Bluesy , slow paced rocking tune. The Album has a strong Bluesy element to a lot of the songs. A side project you wont regret that will generate views from a wise and knowledgeable metal head community that will generate many more recommendations, likes, followers, yadda yadda. Ya get where I am going. Best of luck with the Channel ( I get what you were going for with the channel name, but it's kinda cringy, perhaps a rebrand?!). I may have had a few Beers, but it is when I know the most. Love and respect from Dublin Ireland (I am not necessarily (Stereo)typical of my fellow country men).

    Yes Yes Yes please do the song “Let There Be Rock” from the River Plate concert December 2009. Angus does damn near 16 minutes of kicking ass guitar work and a solo in the air. Granted it is a longer video than most to get by the censors but the time flys and it’s probably their greatest performance of all time. You won’t be disappointed!!!! Just saying!!!! So says Austin Tx. 🎸🎸🎸🎸😍😍😍🥳🥳😎🍸

      Please stop it with this 'River Plate' greatest performance of all time stuff, anybody who saw them in their heyday in the 70' and 80's and can still remember, knows that 'River Plate' is well down the list of their greatest performances. Granted the video quality is top notch, but that is only because of the advances in audio/visual technology, as for the band, good as they were, they were way past their best.

    • @SWTSU
      @SWTSU ปีที่แล้ว

      @@snowblindoz Oh I know!! I’m 62 and grew up in San Antonio (now I’m in Austin) so we got ACDC with Bon all the time. I was lucky and blessed enough to see 9 of their shows!!!! I would travel to Houston, Dallas and Austin to see them as well on every tour starting at age 16 so we (my friends) just grabbed some Mexican weed, a few cases of beer and did road trips following them around Texas for my 4 years in high school and 5 years in college!!!!!! Tickets were $10. Understand the drinking age back then was 18 so we always could get booze (fake ID’s) and the weed…… well you know!!!!! Good times we’re had by all!!!! The problem is that today the new generations first seeing the lads will never experience those shows and the best utube has to offer is mostly River Plate or Donnington for LIVE performances. Just saying!!!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!!!!🥳🥳😎🍸

    AC/DC are for sure the last remaining rock and roll band. All their stuff is played live first before its put on disc. They almost always play live to track. And its almost like Bon was the vocalist but not the frontperson. Angus was the main character of that band. Bon and Brian always pull back when Angus goes off.

    Bob Scott new Brian Johnson and had mentioned that Brian would be a good singer for them. Then Bon Scott drank to much and fell asleep in the back seat of his car and never woke up. They were going to disband but Bons family told them that Bon worked too hard for them to let it die with him.
