I am a huge fan of Airwolf and i had the privilege to fly the actual Airwolf and i felt the lord of the earth and skies and i actually met all the cast members and director of Airwolf and they where as friendly as ever and flying Airwolf with the pilot actor was a match made in heaven
Gary Raymo I’m not so sure. They could remake it but “The Lady,” would have to be a relic of a previous age given an advantage by its hotshot pilot String and co pilot Dom (also a hotshot with his level of experience and knowledge of flying and general avionics) basically an unbeatable team , even against 21st Century aircraft and aircraft technology? Maybe a new show staring the Son or daughter of Stringfellow and the nephew or niece of Dominic ( or did they try that already in the final season? ) Any how you could go the other way and have Airwolf still flying but with a few updated gizmos and gadgets including the lazer gun /beam salvaged from the wreckage of Airwolf 2(Redwolf...) Archangel And Marella’s organisation ( the committee?) could still be bankrolling the chopper too
"No se ustedes" pero viendo este video y me causa mucha tristeza y melancolía el poder recordar esta serie tan bien argumentada y realizada en lis años 80s. Loved this show as a kid, when I became a Heli pilot and then realizing what Airwolf couldn't do it almost made me want to cry. Still, I will forever love this show.
Remember Airwolf wasn't CGI. Everything she did on screen a real pilot made a real helicopter do. Some of it was clever editing, some of it was movie magic. But she's more real than anything made in the last 30 years. I'm sure liability and responsibility keep you away from her moves more than physics do. (apart from going supersonic, of course 😁)
Yeah, one could make weapons on a chopper like Airwolf, and make it not go destroyed by gunshots like in the serial. But.. a chopper can not fly as fast as airwolf could. I'ts impossible.
The speeding up in tv show was necessary as the Bell 222 couldn’t achieve the on screen manoeuvres shown. 9sadly) but to this day it’s still the best looking helicopter ever 👌

Shame they did not keep the chopper though when the show was cancelled. Airowlf RIP along with the stars of the show we still love it and glad it was apart of our growing up. Also really like this piece of music accompanying the video.
When Airwolf gave off that howl sound it gave me goosebumps. You just knew she meant business! Also when String visor came down somebody was also going down!
You know it. Once String was in the pilot's seat and Airwolf was on the move, you knew things were about to get serious real quick. I could imagine looking at The Lady hovering in front of you wasn't intimidating at all; it was downright menacing!
@karenlarke1737 one of many reasons no one else could ever properly play lead pilot role fkr the show. That helmet, String had the perfect eyes for just the right look. Definitely good looking but when sh!t was about to go down, those eyes were deadly killa eyes that said the other guys are toast on barbecue coming right up LOL
A bell 222 will always be the most beautiful work of art flying machine and attack helicopter to me. And Jan Michael Vincent and Ernest Borgnine will always be the greatest pilot heroes. May they live forever.
It's now 2024 August and this Masterpiece is still amazing today as the day it was put up. So to The Lady and the amazing pilots who flew her into our hearts all we can say is THANK YOU and see you in the sky's.
🎉 You cannot imagine how deep my love to Jan Michael is. I was feeling his death. I was standing at the window of my kitchen. Suddenly my eyes were looking up to heaven and I had the input that Jan Michael is dead. I remembered the date. Unfortunately I had to read four weeks later that JM really had died on that day. Best wishes, Jana 🎉😢🎉
Keeping in line with 80’s heroes operating above the law, i just love the idea of absconding with state of the art tech and keeping it as leverage over the government.
Reminded me of my childhood days. Felt very nostalgic after seeing and listening this tribute. No words to explain the feelings. RIP EB, JMV and the Helicipter.
File: A56-7W. Subject: AIRWOLF, Top Secret. A Mach 1+ attack helicopter with the most advanced weapons arsenal in the air. Sought by governments friendly and foreign, Airwolf is hidden somewhere in the Western wilderness by its test pilot, Stringfellow Hawke. To be return to the U.S. government, only if his brother, Saint John, an M.I.A. in Vietnam can be found. The deputy director of the Intelligence Agency that built Airwolf is Michael Coldsmith-Briggs, III (code-name: Archangel), believed to covertly provide classified information and support to Hawke in exchange for flying the chopper for missions on national interest. Stringfellow Hawke is 34, recluse, sensitive and a loner. Known to associate with his only friend and mentor, Dominic Santini. Together, Santini and Hawke fly Airwolf. Capable of speed rivaling the fastest jets, and backed by unmatched firepower. Airwolf is a weapon too dangerous to be in unenlightened hands. Finding Airwolf is your first priority. End of file."

You mean the lack of the theme and music too overpowering to hear (if it's even still there) the iconic sounds Airwolf made? Not a fan myself, to put it mildly.
@@blackfox1616 you should do an every 5 yr new one...the same music...you would be famous for it and keep us all happy and living longer in anticipation for the next vid!!
What I find ironically funny is that the pilots that flew Airwolf on the show said that the helicopter flew more stable and smoother with all the extras they put on it than in it's original configuration. The fake turbo jets and extending the landing gear pods out further and the weight of the fake rocket launcher made the helicopter fly better.
Returning Shadow Interesting.I had heard that before. That baby was a beaut.Pity we don't hv a couple for real,to deal with terrorists n other low life.
I am a helicopter pilot (heavily influenced by Airwolf or "Águia de Fogo" here in Brazil) and every helicopter I have flown flew more stable when heavier due to the bigger mass, but "Blue Thunder" seemed to be diferent because of the weight distribution making it to be very nose heavy.
The greatest tv show that still has not been beaten with any of the crap they put out today ! We will surely miss these two of my favorite actors I spent watching as a youth ! Rest In Peace JMV.
This video is stunning. The music, editing-flawless. I choked up during the dialogue between them in the beginning. I watch many videos here. Only a rare few exhibit true talent and care for the subject matter. You my friend are one of them.
There is nothing in an adventure seriies wit this pace now. The beauty of the take off the calm real conversational pas as they suit up. The absolute grace wlth which the music and aerial scenes are shot. Its graceful a not rushed giving the feeling of the great distance they have to cover. Nothing is filmed with such care now.
Air Wolf will always be one of the greatest shows hands down. I admit I built a mini model and designed an upgrade. Mini wings to handle the back and forth wiggle at high speed plus gatlins
Who ever cut this video together .. THANK YOU . It brought me to tears watching this . "The Lady " was my first love and to see her in this beautiful string with the music was a true delight . I can't thank you enough .
I also said the exact same thing many many times but now I'm thinking I was totally wrong, Airwolf is not the most beautiful..................................its the only beautiful helicopter every other helicopter is not beautiful at all.

The conversation at the start with Dom and String hits hard.😢😢 0:44 . also wierdly feels empowering, energizing and emotional as they are making all the checks on the Lady. Then..power up! Born in 1973 best decade was the 80's though.. Loooooooooove it I have all the orginal episodes on DVD box set. My favourite show, when iwas a kid and still enjoy watching it fantasic series. Shame they did not keep the chopper though when the show was cancelled. Airowlf RIP along with the stars of the show we still love it and glad it was apart of our growing up. Also really like this piece of music accompanying the video.
I'm 44 years old one of my absolute favorite tv shows I'll never forget about air wolf
Hey l,m 47 years and l still love airwolf had done since the first time l saw l fly.
Same age. Same thoughts. I used to wish Airworlf landed in my garden; late at night and took me on an awesome night flight!!! ....still do!!!
When Airwolf gave off that howl sound it gave me goosebumps. You just knew she meant business! Also when String visor came down somebody was also going down!
💯
You know it. Once String was in the pilot's seat and Airwolf was on the move, you knew things were about to get serious real quick. I could imagine looking at The Lady hovering in front of you wasn't intimidating at all; it was downright menacing!
That and when his eyes used to take on an 'I'll kill you' look!
No one ever escaped the 0 on the visor 😂
The Fact that both String/Dom are both gone makes it more meaningful. That's how I view it. #1 tribute hands down.
Thanks for this. One of my favorite shows as a child.
A bell 222 will always be the most beautiful work of art flying machine and attack helicopter to me. And Jan Michael Vincent and Ernest Borgnine will always be the greatest pilot heroes. May they live forever.
Jan Michael Vincent: 1944-2019
Ernest Borgnine: 1917-2012
They live forever in our hearts.
I LOVED & still love this show. I can watch AirWolf all the time... I miss this show. I think about it all the time....
A big thank you to the creator of the series, this song and the beautiful film edit. Jan Michael Vincent and Ernest, thank you, and rest in peace.
It's now 2024 August and this Masterpiece is still amazing today as the day it was put up. So to The Lady and the amazing pilots who flew her into our hearts all we can say is THANK YOU and see you in the sky's.
Hey 1980 peoples... Show me some love...
❤❤❤
Really
Keeping in line with 80’s heroes operating above the law, i just love the idea of absconding with state of the art tech and keeping it as leverage over the government.
1972.
Best…tribute…ever. Heart and soul was put into this, and I feel the love.
Ever since I came across this video I've been playing everyday.....
It's like a farewell video of Hawk, Santini and The Lady 😥
Reminded me of my childhood days. Felt very nostalgic after seeing and listening this tribute. No words to explain the feelings. RIP EB, JMV and the Helicipter.
This was my favorite show as a kid I miss Airwolf! I wish they would bring it back.
America Needs Airwolf now more than ever! The lady needs to fly again!!!!!!!
True that. The Lady is the Legend of the Skys.
so does the Blue Thunder
They did it with Knight Rider so why not?
That intro dialogue and then that wonderful music - such powerful emotional creativity!

Pimped out like Steve Austin & Jaime Somers.

Love the info on Air wolfs file
I would LOVE to know exactly where the Wolf's Lair was located.
That was the most beautiful helicopter the way it was painted black with a white belly god It was gorgeous!
craig howard it was Like a Lady
Like a killer whale
It's dark metallic gray and white. Not black.
Isaac Chiu think you mean a Great white shark 😉
@@dwc4343 I always thought it was slightly olive. But maybe you're right.
これ、一番好きなやつや‼️‼️‼️飛行シーンと音楽が、ピッタリ合う‼️‼️‼️素晴らしい‼️‼️‼️
I loved this series when I was a kid, now Airwilf is a movie that needs to be updated again💯👍👍💯💯💯😊
There are many Airwolf vids on YT, but what makes this one so special, and imo, the best of them all, is the music. Breathtaking.
Thank you very much, Kal El!
Sent you a message via Facebook in the post where you published this video, hopefully you'll be able to see it. (Don't know if FB publishes comments that are made to posts so far back though).
You mean the lack of the theme and music too overpowering to hear (if it's even still there) the iconic sounds Airwolf made? Not a fan myself, to put it mildly.
@@3dmaster205 I agree. No Airwolf theme none of the signature 'Wolf' sounds. Not a fan.
I heard that on another airwolf vid too. The pilots said it was easier to maneuver.... lol
The 222 had some issues. Maybe this show was on to something?
Today Hollywood would rather use CGI than make modifications like that.
Great job, miss the 80's we really had some of the best shows around. RIP String and Dom
Air Wolf 🐺 is 1 of my favorite T V Series 📺 of all time. I love to see the Air Wolf 🐺 Fly in action. Like the way the pilot fly the Helicopter.
The best Intro ever:
No one lives forever.
Aber was mich angeht fliegen die beiden immer noch.
The music was to loud
@@amazingamazigh6847 bitch it was Beautiful
I TOTALLY resonate!!
@@amazingamazigh6847 then turn it down
There was dialog in the beginning? All I heard was a deafening loud violin playing.
my childhood memory..still love this music,, adorable heli,, fascinating theme
U have elevated the airwolf music to a new level --- the best ever. And the best compilation of TV scenes. /4 thumbs up.
Air wolf was the most beautiful helicopter ever it still looks good today
Shame it doesn't exist no more
Yes my also
Yir... The Bell 222, was a thing of beauty. Too bad it was a crap machine and they stopped manufacturing in something like 89.
AIRWOLF is the greatest helicopter of all time .
I also said the exact same thing many many times but now I'm thinking I was totally wrong, Airwolf is not the most beautiful..................................its the only beautiful helicopter every other helicopter is not beautiful at all.
I learn how to draw a Heli by watching Airwolf...tears in my eyes...oh my days ....please come back to me ...😢😢😢
Very nice 👍...to go memory lane and to remember Airwolf...in this video. .one thing... were is the Airwolf music and Saund.. this part of its own legend.. the music in this video is ok... but we miss the original.. Dominic is not More which is in this world... but he lives of ever to all the Airwolf Fan's they sound bing back a new generation of Airwolf
I for one definitely would love to see them do a reboot of this show for the next generation & generations to come
A awesome tribute to Airwolf, Dom & Hawk! Well done, thanks for posting. Airwolf was my favorite show growing up. RIP guys you will not be forgotten.
Te causa nostalgia escuchar esa música de fondo me recuerda a mi niñez.muy bien ay!! Saludos jossed argentina
Thanks; many happy memories from that era/genre
Definitely a Totally Awesome and Cool Show and it should be Brought Back in Our T.V.Show's and Or Movie's!!!!!!
A true and beautiful tribute to the star's who now fly Airwolf together in Heaven. May there Rest In Peace. See you in the sky's.
Nice to see the Lady in action once again
Beautiful scenery and it was sad to hear that Airwolf destroyed in a crash and JMV and Ernest Borgnine done a wonderful job as pilots in the series and I want to give credit to the music as well
Yeah. I've read somewhere that AirWolf had been sold and used for a rescue helicopter. It crashed after that... 😕
It's true, it was indeed sold and finally used as a rescue helicopter - sadly yes it did crash it was destroyed and everyone on board was killed.
The conversation at the start with Dom and String hits hard.😢😢 0:44 . also wierdly feels empowering, energizing and emotional as they are making all the checks on the Lady. Then..power up! Is there a sense of freedom, like we had during our childhood, that we all feel once she takes off into the skies and glides along the desert?...
I just have too, many problems w/ what is supposed to be simple communication. Its always thoughtful to get acknowledged.
Wow you blew the TH-cam competition away on this my brother I mean LifeofWorld puts up some damn good vids but with your homemade music on this one with just the right most moments in flight no comparison by a long shot.. This is The Best of all & I watched & saved on my personal TH-cam most of the Airwolf clips but when O watched it for the very first time well I couldn't stop watching & tonight over & over again..Makes me want to fly the Lady through out Monument Valley out of the Lair in The Valley of Gods myself..Care to join me...
30 years later people still know who were those 2 guys who Hawk and Santini flying AIRWOLF ❤️❤️GREAT SHOW
Till we can't remember anymore.
I remember spending hours drawing this helicopter over and over as a kid in grade school, i only had the tv to reference it. It was the best looking copter then and still is to me today. Ill have to see if i can still draw it right lol
Same here on drawing this sexy beast
80’s synth and 80’s flair. Man I miss my youth.
I was 14 when Airwolf aired. My parents bought a VCR for the sole reason of being able to record Airwolf
Was such a cool show, I always thought of the first season as an extended movie, it had its own magic the later seasons did not have. So glad I was an 80s kid!😎
I think one of my fondest memories of that show is seeing the Lady flying over the snow. Remember reading somewhere that the snow was a one time thing during the filming of the entire show. Footage used at 11:05 the ending of Sweet Britches as Dom sings the Yellow Rose Of Texas a personal favorite.
It's a beautiful sight to see her gliding over the landscape. The paint color blends well with the snow.

This show and Blue Thunder inspired me to become a chopper pilot as a kid. Sweet tribute.
違うよ運転のやり方みてよ😎
Wow, most folks wouldn't consider letting a kid fly a helicopter.
THIS was The most beautiful helicopter ever built closed book 📚
100% fact. The lady cannot be replaced.
Beautiful music!
Brought me back to my childhood. What an awesome video. The flight is so peaceful and just reminds me how good this show was. Will never forget ❤️
