If you create video contents, do you use or have you used a teleprompter before?
    If not, why?

You are a natural speaker. I rather like your accent and since you prepare scripts you do not spend any time on unnecessary pauses. Forget your idea of deficiency and enjoy passing on your content
Which teleprompter app do you use

Hi Barry, thank you so much. Really appreciate all your support!!
And the app i'm using on my iPad is called "Teleprompter". It's a free app by "JoeAllenPro Limited" It seems to work quite well and it is what I've been using with my previous teleprompter

Thank you for the comprehensive review! Sharpness, flare and color shift are such important aspects that determine the quality of the teleprompter, and almost nobody performs such tests in their reviews, so thank you for your work, much appreciated.
Hopefully you’ll be able to test new Elgato Prompter

have you got one as well?? Oh yeah i could now film and do the first edit in the same evening!! Especially using the Davinci Resolve and Speed editor which also speed up my workflow a lot.

Great balanced review as always. Never heard of this brand before but seems like a good teleprompter for it's price

Thank you for this excellent informative review. I have two questions.
    1. Instead of using an iPad I plan to buy a monitor like Lilliput make. It may be heavier than iPad. Would the Desview handle that and wha would be the maximum size monitor for this teleprompter?
    2. I plan to use the teleprompter mainly for Zoom calls. Any comments on this use case appreciated.

Yeah so frustrating sometime when my brain just can't remember anything anymore after filming for an hour

I also have a hard time "winging it" in front of a camera. I keep wanting to go back and edit the flow of words that came out of my mouth. Using a teleprompter takes practice, and the hardest thing for me is getting the formatting right in the teleprompter software (I use an Android tablet) so the pacing flows smoothly, as some sections need to be spoken faster than others. The remote for this is the most attractive thing to me, as I wouldn't like to place much weight on the end of a lens.

Yes teleprompter definitely need a bit of practice to get the best result. It changes the way how i write my scripts too. As you said, i now start to pay more attention on the speed i deliver the scripts and make some adjustment. Some of the difficult paragraph/sentences I add some extra line break just to allow get the pacing right.
And also I usually only record one page or two at a time so it allows me to catch up or slow down to adjust the pacing as well

@@TheRealRichardWong Oh, I forgot to mention that I have immense respect for anyone who can communicate in more than one language. You speak English well enough so there's never an issue of understanding what you say. Big congrats on that.

A big thank you for the excellent and thorough review Richard. I just received my T3 and have not yet used it, but your video popped up in my feed so I watched it. Big thumbs up and really appreciate your test of the light stop (about 0.5EV), no colour shift, and excellent sharpness!
One question, I want to use the T3 so that I can reflect a ZOOM call and make eye contact with the other caller so I’m wanting to perhaps use a 7” monitor in flip mode. I noticed you are using a Feelworld on-camera monitor and wondering what your thoughts would be on this configuration? Would a 7” monitor give a decent size in the reflection? Thanks again.

that is an awesome idea!!! I don't have a 7" screen, but let me try it with my Feelworld F6 Plus and let you know how it works.

      @@TheRealRichardWongThanks so much Richard. 😊

Ok i've just tried it. It works. But my F6 Plus is a bit small so i guess a 7" monitor would be better. And depends on how you want to mount the screen onto the teleprompter. In theory you can remove the clamp for the smartdevice.. and directly mount the monitor onto the base of the teleprompter, but you may need some spacer/extension bits to push it out a bit and if you want to directly mount it, the mounting hole on the monitor has to be on the bottom side of the monitor or else it maybe blocked. What i mean is you can certainly make it work but may need some work if you want to mount it neatly onto the teleprompter directly.

@@TheRealRichardWong Thanks so much for checking this Richard! Ironically Desview makes the R7 or R7P monitor that has the HDMI ports on the side and the mounting thread at the bottom so it may be able to attach directly without obstructing the HDMI ports or AC input port as I would not want to use the battery in this configuration.
Alternately, there is the 8.9” monitor from Elvid that would offer even more screen real estate but that monitor is only 350 nits brightness and would then probably be too big to use comfortably with my Nikon Z6II when I want to use it as an on-camera monitor. So I’m conflicted with the 7” and versatility to use with my camera or 8.9” which would work best for ZOOM but then not as versatile.
