Mike, you really touched on a subject that has bothered me for some time. I only have one B&M tobacco shop convenient, it is a cigar and pipe store. When the lounge has a group of cigar smokers they seem to treat one interested in pipes as beneath them and I too have heard the chuckles while perusing pipes in their presence. You would think all of 'us' ol boys would enjoy each others company - I have never seen a woman in this shop - am sure that would change things. I do enjoy good cigars and always look forward to walking into the humidor and taking a deep breath - gosh what a wonderful aroma. Have a good week and God bless Jim

Just wanted to let you know that I am fairly new to the pipe World myself and I'm learning a lot as I go along but I find myself to be kind of what you would call a codger man and any information or plans that you might recommend it's on an extreme cheap budget cuz right now I'm a very cheap working man I work hard and I don't have a whole lot of money to spare my pipes consists of some corn cobs and some basket pipes at about 5
Like you I only smoke matured Virginia that has a deeper rich note. Personally, I like my tobacco deep and smoky, so English with Latakia and oriental suite me.

this is my medium to not smoke a pipe on my own. i feal allone when i smoke my pipe, i have to go outside and got no one that also like to smoke a pipe. soon i wil move in my boat and i can smoke a pipe in doors but still alone. i am thinking to restart my channel and just invide people to have a pipe with me :D im a low budged prepper and i make pipes and also i am an artist painter.
