@@Tobyfleet Started going ROTJ but now I'm building the new 'fresh' boba fett look from Mandalorian S2. Just love the retro action figure look the armor has and the black underneath.
Very sad hear and see that these beautyfully made Boba Fett costume was so badly treated.. if Lucasfilm ask me to hold on to the costumes for them.. I would say yes and I would take care of them like were they religious artifacts and I would keep them safe from harm ..
Great breakdown! I've been putting together my suit for the last year or so, and have taken the parts I like from each. I prefer the esb helmet and abdominal armor but always liked the rotj gauntlets, jetpack and mythsoaur decal
We now know that Sandy did not paint the ROTJ helmet or any of the costumes sent to Daydream. They were painted by Mario Maala who was hired by Vance Lorenzini at Daydream.
I wonder why they didn’t just keep the suit the same from ESB to ROTJ? I can’t imagine it would have gotten damaged from stunts in ESB as he mostly just walked around.
The theory is they needed several suits that looked similar for stunt shots so they painted new sets instead of trying to match ESB. Now why they didn't use ESB helmet again doesn't make sense at all because the stunt helmet for ROTJ was unused ESB stunt helmet.
ur timing to release this video is off.i am surprised that the youtube algo gave u only 692 subscribers (as of now).THIS IS INJUSTICE FOR SUCHA GREAT VIDEO.U DESERVE BETTER.
For some reason the continuity error with the special edition mainly being ROTJ just pisses me off. No clue why. I never knew until I watched this video.
Great video mam, thanks for sharing it. I would like to have your opinion about some boba costume makers, if money wasn't an issue, what maker would you pick as the mist screen accurate?
I'd like a little help with his fathers paint scheme, I just put a video out of my recent ongoing project, please check it out, you won't be disappointed
I like that there are many differences, perhaps Boba mixed and matched different parts of his own or had to change and repair parts after each job
I like that Boba Fett's armor actually got beaten up, it makes it look more real
This is really helpful! I am trying to decide between an ROTJ or ESB costume build, this is perfect thanks. :)
What did u go for bro my personal preference that I have built is rotj

Some of the BTS pictures break my heart.
Need a part 2!!!

0:58 I love Boba’s pose in Jabba’s palace.
The pose looks straight out of a Ralph McQuarrie sketch

Correct. Wish I could amend the video.
I'm trying to decide if I should do the esb or the rotj se
I am going ESB and I am very glad I went that way. But look at both and go with what really speaks to you.
I don’t know either, I’m also not sure wether to buy or make on.
I haven’t done a project so big or complicated before.
Rotj!!
You are pretty underated
Thanks for this, really helpful and interesting!

What is more frustrating is ANH SE scenes are almost exactly ROTJ hero - just with the shoulders flipped. So they were so close.
What’s that music in the background of this video from? I know I have heard it but can’t pick it.
Good stuff!
This needs a follow up...
Brilliant stuff. Thanks heaps.
You are a hero among men
i never realized these differences until now. i thought they were the same outfits... my life is a lie
Great video

Depends on the part and the version. No single vendor is the most accurate all around.
I didn't even know he had braids hanging from his shoulder.
padawan braids too :D
I watched this......
Im now a United States Marine.
The SE armor is best, in my opinion.
All this time, I'm wondering who is underneath that bucketface. It turns out to be Temuera Morrison all along 🤘👌👍
Electric!!!
