- I refuse to make the absurd claim that this video is going to be worth your time. This is for a select few fanatics that would like to see the new hardcover bound Dragonbane rulebook that I purchased last week from Free League. Does it have a little extra? It does. Enough extra to make a whole video? Probably not. But I had an extra 20 minutes and I figure some of you might be on the fence about this, so why not? If I can touch the heart of one gentle solo rpg player, then it truly is all worth it.

Great to see all the love for Dragonbane. I'm a big fan of Free League's Vaesen and am starting to get into Dragonbane.
The binding in the soft cover is why I want the hardcover (and the flat paper, flat paper is better).
Ignore the knobs, keep the good and thoughtful content coming!

When you start getting trolls hitting you up and making snarky comments, you know that your reach is expanding. I would suggest you just ignore the trolls and be glad that your reach is expanding. This appears to be a really common problem on TH-cam for some reason. I love your reasons for buying the hardcover rule book. I have a few items on my shelf I will never play but I would be very sad if they weren't there on my shelf. No idea why but it's certainly true.😊

Dragonbane is great, and Free League with this is quite good to us....minus the glue part.
I wish the Forbidden Lands boxed set would have included all that Dragonbane did though.... it's cool, but just not as complete at all.
And yes, I've gotten and responded to comments like that, and you're right that if you do, you may "win" but lose.
As an aside, how do you use Improvised Weapons in your games? I've found it difficult as a GM to implement them.
I somehow got this book, the bestiary, and the standees like 2 weeks before they officially shipped. It was a nice surprise.

Oh man DB is rad! Agree the intro box is one of the best products! And the bestiary nailed it. Would love for them to come out with a gm kinda manual just loaded with treasure,encounters etc

I’m embarrassed to say I’ve had the Dragonbane box since the KS but haven’t played it yet - you’ve inspired me to break it out and give it a go!
