You just move the first position to the tonic of the backingtrack youre playing, in other words, look for the A in the low E string, and move all the chart to the other note
The minor scale is the same all the way up the neck. You just would move the root notes (blue one on this picture) to the minor key you want to play in. And the chart isn't even just the minor scale. It's the major scale too, just with different root positions.
Now, Bobby is in another realm. And I've worked on his compositions since 1974 when surreal warrior came out. Can I play to all track on that LP? FUCK NO!! So I play to WHAT I know and leave the rest to just jamming. Can I play all they write? 🤣🤣 Nope! I'm a noodler...enough to qualify as a songwriter. Am I famous? Hell No! But my Boys are.
