This App is really crappy. Always crashes and has very low user friendliness. Thought I was the only one but you find complaints everywhere. Whoever made this app should switch to farming instead.

You can go to settings and log out. You can remove the TV app from your DStv stream mobile app or uninstall and reinstall the DSTV app on the smart TV
@@SmartDepot it is preinstalled I can't remove the app, there's no avenue to logout, once you click on it it takes you to the profiles
me I field completely to install dstv stream on my TV box.

It keeps telling me, smartcard number not found. And I have an active dstv subscription
You have to link your smartcard or IUC number. I did that on previous videos and the links to those videos are in the description
How do I link the smart tv code to the dstv stream
Open DSTV Stream on the smart TV it will ask for code. The code can be gotten from the DSTV Stream mobile app. Go to the app settings and click on link TV to get the code.
This thing don't work I dd follow all the steps but no access you guys come to explain things without original on these forums

You can't. You may ask someone who already has a current dish/decoder subscription if you can use their decoder account to create a streaming one

If the Android tv box is Google certified yes.
Even certified android box it doesn't work, i tried mi box. Otherwise please make a video on DStv stream working on certified android box and ur android box recommendations. Thanks

How many streams at the same time
It was 2 up until March 2023 but now only one device can stream. I still don't understand why when more people are running away from DSTV premium

Won't call it useless but reducing 2 devices streaming simultaneously will surely cost the company on a longer run
@@SmartDepot that's where they f'd up, the thing they did is annoying, if they kept 2 devices that would have been better, it doesn't make sense that they give u an option to register 4 devices but only one can watch, we need to boycott till they get their shxt back 2gether😑
dstv stream is not working.....it's showing network rety again 3mbps needed

How do I add subtitles to movies I don’t understand the language
Dstv stream app doesn't have that function but if you are watching a downloaded video in your phone with VLC player or MX player, you can go to internet and download subtitle language of your choice and use the video player to load it.
My DSTV stream is not fulling the screen again it only minimizes.
How to add someone in my DStv stream in my phone
Just give them your login details but know that only one device can stream at a time. You can't stream while they are streaming. It use to be two devices streaming simultaneously until they removed that feature early last year
