You should be strong with the knowledge of your own opinions. Keep your books if you want. I only get rid of extra copies that I don't want/ or books that other people stick me with thinking that I'd like them.
Midnight library is a very repetitive just so you know- it’s like the same thing over and over and not really a good idea. But that was just my opinion 🤷🏻♀️
I just read Mother Night a month or so ago and loved it! It might be one of my favorites novels by Kurt Vonnegut, but I think it was right time and place. It was a quick witty read, which is what I needed. I am also hear to support un-hauling! So it goes.
True History of the Kelly Gang is my favourite Peter Carey novel, had it on my shelf for years, I was also born in Kelly Country and know a lot of the places talked about in the book, Ned Kelly was not just a bushranger but a freedom fighter to some, please try it before unhauling. I probably need to reread it, it's a keeper to me. Get rid of the Rooney, it's such a frustrating book, watch the TV series instead.
I forced myself to read True History of the Kelly Gang and wholeheartedly agree with your decision to unhaul. Yawn. Also good call on Whisper of Death, you should absolutely read that! Loved Christopher Pike as a teenager and that was one of my favourites. I want to reread it to see how it is as an adult! Can’t wait to see your thoughts on A Clockwork Orange.
I absolutely loved The Appeal, The Midnight Library and Sea of Tranquility so happy to hear you're keeping those. I think How to Stop Time is worth reading. It's one of my favourite science fiction books of all time. I reckon you could let Beautiful World Where Are You go. It was completely forgettable for me!
More shelves is my solution. Hoarder alert. I’d have to take an antihistamine after a clear out. I loved Carey’s True History of the Kelly Gang. And Milk Fed. I wouldn’t get rid of such lovely editions.
I may be in a minority, but I really like beautiful world where are you. For me, I enjoyed it a lot more than the other two books. The characters are older and so felt more relevant.
I feel like when it came out, I heard tons of great things about it. But maybe it's one of those things that reached a wider audience than it should have because of all the hype and then the people that only read because of that weren't happy with it lol
I’m sad you’re unhauling those super cool editions of The Southern Reach trilogy, probably because I read them from the library so had to take them back! 😂
Re: Novels by TH-camrs-Katie from Books and Things wrote a historical (Victorian) mystery fiction novel that was published earlier this year titled The Secrets of Hartwood Hall.
really didn’t like The Water Cure (in fact it was my least favourite book the year it came out and I was so excited to read it). I’ve heard really good things about Milk Fed and would have just bought it (maybe read the first couple of chapters). The Perks of Being a Wallflower is one of my favourite books I’ve read this year.
Newest subscriber here! You must read I'm Thinking of Ending Things. Beach Read is my favorite Emily Henry! Unpopular opinion here but Final Girls is my favorite Riley Sager book! NO! Please give The Night Swim a chance!!! I LOVE THE NIGHT SWIM!!
This makes me so happy! I've definitely heard some not great things about Final Girls, but I'm still excited to read it haha And you've convinced me, I'll pull back the Night Swim :)
I have a few copies of Infinite Jest. At times -on vacation-I’d buy a new copy. But never would get past the first 20 pages. Any chance you might do a book club over several months? I feel like I need assistance. And… I’m heading out on a trip in July. My concern is will I have the will power not to buy another copy. Oh one more thing--love your Ted Lasso series. Putting some of them on my TBR. Bird by Bird is an all time favorite.
first of all you should read "The perks of being a wallflower" 5 stars from me. one more question I am planning to start a booktube channel to keep me on track with reading. any words of wisdom for me.
I would just suggest focusing on the books and genres you most want to read! There is an audience out there for every type of book, so you should never feel like there are certain books you "have to" read. Good luck!

i love the Name of The Wind book!
I loved 'The uninhabitable Earth'. It was such a guick read as well!
I was going to say the same! I love it and want her copy lol

Good to hear!! I think I'll save How to Stop Time from the unhaul pile :)
@@FreshlyReadBooks Yay! I hope you enjoy it ☺
I loved Milk Fed ❤
I've seen a few comments for this one, so I might have to pull it back from the unhaul pile!
Well, all the ones I would have said you should keep are in your keep pile. So, good job!
Awesome!
I am here to indeed say The Wayer Cure is SO good. I was also disapointed by Cursed Bread
This is really good to know! The Water Cure sounds so good, I think I'll have to keep it, thank you 😊
Humankind by Rutger Bergman is excellent. If you liked Sapiens I think you'll like Humankind.
That's great to hear! I loved Sapiens

I know, it's a little heartbreaking. I would honestly buy artwork of those book covers haha

Thank you! I had not heard of this one, but I'll add it to my list for that video idea!

Those are some big books to buy on vacation! Maybe next year I will attempt an Infinite Jest readalong :)

If you have not read Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao (writer and youtuber) off you go
Definitely get rid of Milk Fed and Beautiful World Where Are You, not worth valuable hours of your time 😂
VICIOUS IS MY FAVORITE BOOK OF ALL TIME
Dune was bad and overhyped for no reason so decision well made 😂
I am very glad to hear that! haha
