- The long awaited (apparently) carbine setup video. Have had folks asking for a while for me to do a detailed video over it, so here ya go. Any questions i didnt answer feel free to ask them in the comments. One thing I failed to mention for those who dont follow on instagram; the stencil used for the multicam(ish) paint job came from @PrimaryArmsOptics

One hundred concepts are some awesome guys. Followed them and supported them pretty much since the start of their business.
Yeah ive been happy with the product.
Did the same thing with my sting and buffer. Also ran the same yhm riser for quite a while. Flip to center it great when I need it. Out of the way when I don’t. Also find the height of the optic great when I’m shooting and have my glasses instead of contacts. Not having to squish and look not look over my glasses is great.
Higher optics are definitely nice.

Good stuff. Gonna try that light cap havnt really been diggin them thus far just been smearing a little chap stick on the lens to avoid the carbon build up but I want to cut out the reflection

Me being a lefty such as yourself , the Foward Control's Low Drag Forword Assist is very nice . It gets removes the ledge you complained about snagging on .
Thats something im considering adding. The vltor upper takes care of a lot of it. The FCD one would just completely fix it.

Moving forward assist forward is a very interesting solution to that problem! I’m left-handed and I grind the ridge on the top of all of my forward assist off so that I don’t rip my fingernails off.
This is certainly a solid upgrade

Are u running a mod button on your white light. My current one appears to be dying and flickers if i don’t crush the button as hard as i can

I do not. Im pretty much die hard click tailcap these days. I has some earlier mod buttons. While they did not cause any issues for me in terms of function, i do tend to hear about these issues quite often.

@@protectpersevere2030 interesting. It would fire my d2 maybe 25% of the time and when it did it would flicker.
Dope rifle. I'm in between my 14.5 bcm with aimpoint duty rds and my 20in fn m16a4 clone with Acog, Reason being is because of I'm inbetween working rural landscape and very dense big city. How did you have your rifle painted?
Both are good setups. I used rustoleum rattle can and a primary arms stencil. Post about it on my IG.

Negative. Ive gravitated towards a more load capable chest rig. More on that later though. 😉

I have not, but there is a detailed post on my IG. If i paint something else with the stencil I will video it.

New sub here. @riskychrisky sent me. Amen on the pinned gas block, I won’t have it any other way. To that point I prefer a machine pressed pin be it taper or straight-if you can pin it by hand it’s gonna come out.
Certainly worth considering. This comes pinned from BA. So unsure if they hand pin prior to shipping or what.

Between 10 and 11lb current config with a loaded 30rd pmag.
How is the Eotech and magnifier? I’ve been hearing of people breaking there’s. I’ve shot one and really like the combo. How is your experience with it?
Break it how?
Curious how they are breaking them. Older eotechs had some issues but it was resolved. Ive had not issues with mine and quite like the combo.
@colt1033 just seen some stuff on the internet about it, mostly the glad is the topic shattering. I take that stuff with a grain of salt I’ve always seen them as good optics

@floridamanhvacr1091 drop anything significantly enough and it will bend. Also a mount issue not a optic issue. I was just curious If there was any substance to the claim as I’ve used them overseas and stateside for over 17 years and not broken one outside of them dying after years of abuse and the combo would have been one or the other, optic or magnifier . Curiosity

Skip to 2 minutes if you don't want to hear this guy talk about his rifle like it costs as much as a yacht.
Its an investment. Not cheap for certain. However i agree, if you want to skip right to the nuts and bolts then the 2 min mark is roughly there.
