    I used to have that album (Gold Tailed Bird) .. I walked all the way.. from East St Louis yesterday...Johnny your awesome.. such great stuff

    Love Jimmy Rogers. Went to his masterclass in Amsterdam in 1996. Had his son with him.

    Chicago Bound.. was probably the album ( but yeah Johnny.. JR was the greatest.. for ME.. as he had that big city blues..as cool laid back.. never show-offy (subtle jazz influence).. but the songs.. such great songs.. so memorable.. its really been years.. but he always sounds great to my ears ( as do you !)

    This is a great lesson for not just learning a song but by putting everything into context and the relevant references to history on the music. Also the subtle differences between what's being done and what's not being done by the artist. It's a lesson on style as much as music notes. Others great artists and keys referenced aswell. Top stuff. I have a good friend from Chicago who moved back to the US a year ago. I'm going to go visit him when all the covid is over and get me some Chicago blues. Thanks Johnny. Subscribed.
