Watching your adventures on the trails brings back memories of my recent hiking trip. It's wonderful to connect with fellow nature enthusiasts through your content.
Justin, this was a great compilation of hiking trips! I especially enjoyed the one with your and Steph’s parents!! They did such a great job!! I am in my late 60’s and began hiking and backpacking myself this year and loving every minute.
I absolutely love your videos...been watching you for sometime now....maybe I'm crazy, but for me, your music is quite loud haha maybe it's just me ;) anyways, keep doing your thing. I have taken your advice many times and I tell everyone about you.
Wow! You just dropped Mie Goreng Ramen. I am an American living in Indonesia, and Mie Goreng is Ramen from Indonesia! Well done, sir. If you get a chance, try the Rendang flavor. It's my favorite.
Thank you so much, Justin, for these gorgeous videos of your trips. The areas you film are so beautiful. I love your easy going style and way of presenting information. I’ve never backpacked anywhere but you make it seem like anyone can do something similar, depending on their age and fitness level. You explain the uses of gear and clothing etc so well. Thanks for bringing me along👍 And the poo stories are humorous 🤣
Night 2; really good to know you can cold soak freeze dried food if you run out of fuel. Another tip I have heard of is to put the pouch next to your body so your body heats it up.
Buoys. They wash up on shore and people hang them up as decorations, or sometimes to mark the entrance/exit points of the route from the beach to the forrest. There are different paths to take depending if the tide is in or out.
What you jokingly called an aloe Vera plant is actually called a Yucca plant. They are also used to make an anti-inflammatory like joint supplement. I lived in Arizona most of my life before moving to Idaho. 😉
I admit, youtube forced me into premium too with the number of ads they play now. It’s more than I want to pay, but much better with a yearly sub, and honestly, I’ve not regretted it once since getting it.

Awesome balancing skills putting on those pant layers. 😊
You deserve way more viewers! Thank you so much for sharing your amazing experience!
Always wanted to hear your thoughts on that purple ULA Circuit. Never saw it on any of your other videos so assuming it got returned?

@@kildpopperthanks for the info ;)
Aloe info was good but that was an agave. That variety commonly called a spainish dagger.
Good stuff. I've learned a lot from you.
Poisonous rattlesnakes lmaooo😂😂😂
Hello! I didn't see the gear list for your parents. Can you link it for me?
Can you share your route for the Coyote Gultch trip
Rattle snakes aren't active in the cold morning. It needs to warm up.
Phantom poop smell? Nope. It's real. But it's a funny smell because it's mixed with chemicals...unless you don't have the chemicals...

Back in the 1970's there was a soda made from yucca plants.
@@sp00nfed I didn’t know about the soda. 😃
I don’t know if it’s because I’m from Montana but I definitely prefer the Rockies to a desert hike 9 times out of 10
Are there bears here?

So the hot tent was click bait.
I'm not carrying my poop. If an animal can crap in the wilderness so can I. I'll be damned if fawna will have more privileges than me.
now there's more advertisements in your videos than I can stand, such a shame. Just can't finish the video.
