Well 11 people didn't do whole game, 11 people started the studio and went to kickstarter. When they've been finishing the game there were about 100 people. Which is still smal studio in comparition of the scope of the first game. They started developong second game in 100 with possibility to hire another 60, but they had to hire another 150 to be able to do the game of the scope os this one. CHanges in combat system will be pretty smart and simple. The system stays complex as it's bee in first game, but more polished and balanced , but players had most problems with 5-pointed star, Five possibiitys to point our attacks, We are too used just to up, right, left, down, its in our guts. So the will simplify it in that regards - just more user friendly.
Yeah, we were about 120 people, when we finished the second game. But some of them were only hired in the last months before the release, so it's difficult to say how many people exactly worked on KCD1. We didn't hired huge chunks of people at once, but one here, one there, and grew over time.
what really sells it for me is not the awesome visuals or the seamless animations but tom mccay looking like he's about to explode with actual pride and excitement
As an Kuttenberg tour guide i must say this medieval city, the royal silver city, can present you stories like no other. I cant wait what Warhorse have stored for us. This will be epic. From reveal i am planning to build a new pc just to be ready!
VERY good point about the art direction. For me, KCD had some of the best art direction I have ever seen in a game, and that coupled with the fact that the world felt lived in with all the npcs, enemies and even corpses which populated it made it feel so immersive. Possibly THE most immersive game I have ever played. The sequel looks like it is going to take that to the next level and i CANNOT WAIT to just get stuck in and explore everything it has to offer!
Love the intro, Beautiful introduction to our favourite unlikely bros. This is gonna kick ass hard. Haven't been this excited over any game ever.... not even Quest for glory V. hehe. Never seen such an actually immersive game as kcd ever.
Just when I finally get going in my 4th Witcher 3 playthrough and almost make it to Skellige, you talk about replaying KC 1 again. Jeez, now I wanna load it up and play on my new pc just to see how beautiful it looks on the ultrawide ;)
Lots of people don’t like CryEngine (the engine these games are on) but when it’s used right and people know what they’re doing, it’s one of the most powerful engines out there. These guys know what they’re doing. I can’t wait.
I am vice versa glad that they kept good and well tested cry engine instead of switching to some stupid unreal engine like everyone else. I don't really like unreal, those games all look weird and have ridiculous HW recommendations.
Dont forget to cry when the game is poorly optimised, like any other CryEngine game. I really like first KC game, but its broken and runs poorly to this day.
@@lukascerny6405 I mean you’re just wrong. I’m playing it right now in prep for the 2nd game and haven’t crashed once. Everything also runs very smooth. For you to also think that the 2nd game will be that way when they have 10x the funding is beyond me. Keep being bitter. Have a good day.
@@Pidalin it's about how you utilize the engine. UE is widespread so it's possible the bad implemented games because as I said most games use UE nowadays so it's easier to find the bad examples. But it's also possible to see gorgeous games running just fine. UE is the future whether you like it or not. Cry engine is very taxing and hard to utilize. There is a reason why even CDPR jumped ship from RedEngine to UE5
The first game wasn't made just by 11 people man, they only started with 11 but it was made by more like 100 at the end of the production of the first game!

Feel you bro on Alchemy 😂
Warhorse studios and Kingdom come🙏🙏🙏♥️♥️♥️🎉🎉🎉
there is a command you can type in game to turn the archery reticule on while shooting. FYI
Bro! No way! But I guess that being a console command would remove achievements etc?
@@BeardLasers I am still getting achievements.
Nice, I might give it a try thanks

And they modified it so heavily that it is almost unrecognizible anyways.
