This movie was actually really great, way better than The Kissing Booth. I don't know why it didn't get as much advertisement, I feel like I didn't hear about it until it was already out. Everyone was great, it was an adorably down to earth teenage romcom which is rare. 10/10

I think it’s because it doesn’t have the stereotypical character. From her ethnicity to the fact that she’s not some funny “underdog” in a typical high school movie - you know bitchy but actually nice or a loser but really funny. No crazy drama happens in TaBIlb unlike the kissing booth so they didn’t expect that people like it that much. Which is the opposite cause it’s just a nice movie that stands out by not being overly dramatic. Also the characters were soooo likable, I literally got annoyed by every single character in the kissing booth after like 20 minutes.

In a twitter Q&A Lana said that it depends on what response the movie gets and that she would love to do the other two books as movies as well, they could end this one with them getting back together like in the start of the second book as it wouldn't change much then they could start the second with them happy and then all the shit that follows and then the third as normal too. It will get a better response if it ends happy and with him forgiving her without the cliffhanger and wouldn't change too much if you get what I mean but I just hope whatever way they do it that they do all three cause they are brilliant

What I love about this movie is how almost confusing yet relatable and understandable it is. Lara Jean has trouble admitting herself that she loves Peter. Peter knows he loves Lara Jean, but at the same time he can’t get over how much he likes his ex. The amount of times they could have actually dated instead of pretending is UNREAL. I really loved how it took both of them realizing they need to be honest with themselves in order for that to happen!

I'M TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH THIS MOVIE. I love all of the scenes there, nothing's too cheesy or drama or else. It seems natural to me and the story is so relatable. Even tho LJ loves to read/write/imagine romance a lot, I find that she's so rational and smart and I wish I could be more like her. In term of personality ofcourse. Because I feel it's kinda pathetic to wish that I'll have the same love story like hers. I'd definitely recommend this movie to all teenage girls I know. AND PLS I NEED SOME SEQUELS PLSSS

It's different from the book (obviously shorter and cuts some stuff out) but is still really good in its own right. Please watch this movie and hopefully they'll be another one! Also the soundtrack is SO GOOD! Like Breakfast Club good.

I love this movie not just because of LJ and Peter’s love story. It’s also because of her family. I love how her sisters and 1 friend from school are enough for her to be contented and happy in life. That for her, you’re not a ‘loser’ if you don’t get to be friends with everyone - that you only need a true friend and your family’s love to be happy. I just can’t get over - they all love each other. ♥️

This teenage movie isn’t like any other teenage movie at all. It’s unique cinematography and how natural these teenagers act, how chill the movie is and not too dramatic for teens. I love it. Highly Recommended :)

I just saw the movie on Netflix. It was sooo great! It exceeded my expectations. A very John Hughes feel to this also. The acting and chemisty between Lara Jean and Peter was off the charts. I wouldn't be surprised if they would work together again for future films. I say sequel ;-)

Yo kissing booth was cliche and light and I didn’t think it was that bad but THIS blows it out of the water. And the main Laura was so cute I loved her character. I could watch this again and again.

I'm a fan of the trilogy, but I would understand if they can't get some of the scenes as faithful to the book as they could be. Sometimes, it's just too logistically challenging. We're talking camera angles, lighting, props, sets, time, budget. So I'm just going to enjoy this movie as it's own story just like I loved the books. :) I can't wait. :)

I love them too. :) I watched the trailers again because I think I saw a clip of Lara Jean in the passenger seat of a car, screaming with exhilaration and her head out the window. Now I don't know if I just imagined that! These trailers are so well edited, you have to watch them multiple times to notice all the details. :)
I love the roadtrip scene because that's when you realize that Lara Jean and Peter.can be good together. :) And when she met his family, his mom just loved her. :)

after i watched jenny han's newly adapted series 'the summer i turned pretty' series trailer which is not on netflix, no doubt, netflix did such a great job delivering to all the boys franchise trailers that made you look forward to it
And the best part is, this actress is nailing it. She's great.
The trailer could've done without the "p.s. FML" tag at the end... (because first world problems) but otherwise, this looks like a really good teen rom com for this gen. I'm stoked.

Katie Kasten the books focus on a girl named Isabel and her summer adventure.
Basically her mom has a best friend and she has a summer house and Isabel’s family have been going then since before she was even born.
Her mom’s best friend has two son and now that Isabel has turned 16 (or 15 I can’t really remember) they don’t see her as just one of the boys.
So in short it’s a summer love story which sounds super cringey except it’s actually really good
