This is the best detailed vid on TH-cam I've come across about sculpting . .ELLIOT you nailed it. Just wish I had half the talent in your bones, moved me to push myself . . Thank You . . .You moved a sole forward.
The ending bits had me laughing, absolutely amazing! Your videos are incredibly high quality, this is something I'd expect from a lecture at my university, and you've given it to us for free. You're simply amazing! Definitely earned a new sub!
Of all the videos I've seen this far , this is by far the most informative one yet. Specifically the tools used and differences between hard and medium clay.
Watching your videos during late nights was so satisfying. I am a newbie in this kind of art and seeing some of your works makes me me boosted and inspired to do more. Thank you so much
Loved this maquette and checked out your other artwork as well. What interesting, dynamic characters with interesting animated poses! That and the fine detail really sets your work apart from the rest!
Sir, you make this look easy! This video made my day. I'm in a bronze casting course and your video inspired me to push myself to make a human form. Keep up the great work and more videos please!
Just wanted to say I really appreciate the way you detail the whole process. It is extremely helpful and inspirational for those new to the art, like myself. I hope you can continue to make videos like this. Thanks.
As a total beginner at sculpting, I'm really amazed with your bravery at this! Throwing clay on, cutting his head of, reaping his jaw off :O So much confidence, I love this:D
I love this channel. I sculpted for my first time to try and make some of my own silicone masks and I happened to be a natural but I want learn how to do more than just faces and your channel is just the place for that. I find you very inspiring and love your work.
Your understanding of anatomy is fantastic, thank you for this guide it’s re-inspired my passion for clay modelling. The tools needed at the start as well have helped a lot in me figuring out what I needed to start up again. Thank you very much for this. Great results as well!
This is soo cool!!! I’m beginning in clay work and tend to watch TH-cam videos on it, but no channels I watch ACTUALLY teach techniques and basics. So today I stumbled upon your channel (thankfully) and you’ve AUTOMATICALLY got my subscription! I’m looking forward to watching all your videos and get better, gradually, and also to become one of your fans!!!! Edit: I spelled one wrong... lol
The final additions have just killed me XD The things suddenly start going more and more ridiculous from 1:02:12. I like the following commentaries. A very good video.
I just got to say that this tutorial, and the rest on your channel or absolutely amazing! It's nice to see a fellow Ontario resident on here sculpting Even though I sculpt dinosaurs and prehistoric animals animals I found these tutorials very helpful! Thank you so much for making these! I sure hope that one day you sculpt an animal, or dinosaur on your channel because it would be amazing to see!
My god! This is astonishing! What virtuosity. I wish wish wish wish I could sculpt like you. Merely watching your videos is not going to cut it lol! You are incredible!
Wow this was awesome! You got yourself a subscriber. I just started sculpting (super sculpy) and it was cool to see a new material and all the techniques. Love the back story and crazy little details you did with guy!
What a brilliant character..,love the tongue in cheek humour about him ..boy is he a lot of hard work ,but at the end of the day you must be very proud of him ,I would be 😀
I’ve been avoiding watching this because I just didn’t want to dedicate an hour plus to some nonsense sculpture. But the TH-cam algorithm kept it there so I figured I’d scrub thru it in 10 min or so. Not only have I watched the whole video, I may just watch it again. I’ll never be able to create something like this, but I feel like I was in the sculptor’s head thru this whole thing. Great video
This was a great video...fully watched it all...and will be using some of your techniques...Thanks so much for the informative video...Keep making videos...
Me looking at the thumbnail: Oh that looks cool, its a steampunk thug CLAYMAKER: This is a crazy man with a pasta strainer on his head and used condoms on his eyes, they help him see in the dark
I've enjoyed your video very much. It was really satisfying to watch, you make it look so easy. Great style and technique, precise and clean. I am going to make a study after this. Thanks for the inspiration
Very well made video. I appreciate the effort. Those high speed videos most make are worthless. Awesome sculpture too. Thanks for sharing 👍 I'd never use a clay I can't permanently harden but I do like how you melt and freeze as techniques.
Awesome I've been looking for someone sculpting in plastalina clay, I have some van aken plastalina clay, but it's fairly soft, ive had some problems with smoothing lumps out without getting lines in it. Thanks for the tips
eye cover fold on the upper lateral edge of the lid, usually hanging skin and fat, compressing the outer eye. The lacrimal (literally "tear") duct is the medial termination, pinched to a near point where the eye orbit meets the maxilla.
I like the way you describe what you’re doing. You seem to be very aware of what we might be thinking while you describe the techniques, so it’s very informative and feels conversational. I look forward to whatever you post next. Also, I can’t seem to find Taltine anywhere, you recommend a good source?
Bro not to make myself shine, but I'm pretty good at it though you gave me some crucial tips. You're work is great. Thanks. U especially gave me great tips with defining eyes in a previous video....keep posting them and I'll keep watching you can always learn and you got style...

The work is great, but I really appreciate the level of detail you add when describing your process.
God I love this video he explains everything so perfectly and the whole production is flawless.

Taken me right back to my art school days.
Last time I handled clay was over 20 years ago but this video has so inspired me to get back into it.
Just wanted to say I really appreciate the way you detail the whole process. It is extremely helpful and inspirational for those new to the art, like myself. I hope you can continue to make videos like this. Thanks.

Thanks for making this video. I haven't sculpted in 20 years and this brought back a lot of forgotten information. It is excellent! Cheers
Amazing work, great video's and great tips. Thanks Les
You are the best tutor...... big fan of you.
This is great stuff, as an intro to clay its really inspiring, if I knew more about 3D work I certainly would've paid for this.
The final additions have just killed me XD The things suddenly start going more and more ridiculous from 1:02:12. I like the following commentaries. A very good video.
I just bought clay for the first time ever. I never knew how in depth sculptors thought about their work! So impressive. Subbed

I loved your video, learned so much that I'm excited to try your suggestions!!
This my new favorite channel :D
Would like to see some casting tutorials...just an idea
Unfortunately I couldn't cast to save my life but hopefully you found a good one!
Videos of making two part silicone molds to pour in wax to do lost wax casting would be cool. These need to be poured into metal statues.
Wow this was awesome! You got yourself a subscriber. I just started sculpting (super sculpy) and it was cool to see a new material and all the techniques. Love the back story and crazy little details you did with guy!
