Man that is a ton of disassembling to remove the center diff. Basically taking apart the entire model at the rear. In my opinion that’s rather poor engineering, should be easier to access. Don’t get me wrong, I like traxxas and Arrma models, but the arrmas are way easier to service having to just remove like 4 screws and support bar pin to access the center diff.
Probably could have completely changed all the arrmas diff fluid in all 3, taken it for a run and come back and watched a show in the time it takes to remove the center diff on the xmaxx lol.
Interlocking assemblies isn't the most convenient but it isn't poor engineering. This method of construction allows for a much stronger vehicle. Easy access designs compromise on strength. The X-maxx doesn't need frequent maintenance so performing a long service isn't a massive issue.
I’d say the xmaxx is no Kraton or Outcast though. Had just about every major rc over the past few decades and the 6s arrmas in particular are the best in the game in terms of power and performance. The fact they can rotate in the air so fast and be so nimble for a car of their size and weight is unmatched. Couple that with the ease of maintenance makes them far superior. The xmaxx just gets a durability reputation since it can’t rotate well and most jumps are level and land on the tires since their air control and rotation capability is almost non existent. It’s a given that it will break less when one is just doing level jumps with no rotations and constantly landing on all 4 wheels. When you’re going for tricks that the others cars are capable of, you don’t always land on all 4 and occasionally break parts. This is coming from an xmaxx owner btw, like I said, it’s a fun truck for level jumps but it’s no Arrma 6s.
The xmaxx center diff can be accessed without taking the whole thing apart. You can get to it from the bottom. Remove center skid, remove rear skid remove lower rear bulkhead, and there it is. The top did not need disassembly.
@@HearnsHobbiesMelbourne ya, but if people are following you as a tutorial they are doing many things that don’t need to be done. I’m not bagging you, I still like to watch your videos, but some structure would be nice
I feel like we just watched someone figure out how to do something they have zero knowledge how to do!!!!!!!! …painful!!!
Thank you for your feedback.
I forgot those two also. Dam. Bugger.
Whoops!

I think a tutorial would be you knowing exactly what to do instead of just going balls to the wall removing things and testing if it worked
If there is something to be learnt then it is a tutorial.

Sorry, reading your response sounded like bagging. Understood, we will try to introduce some more structure.
Would of been quicker had you known what you were doing before you tried to make an instructional video.
Could have been but still a useful video.
