Hello Something I have been in search for quite sometime is a connection with somebody that goes beyond vanity. It's very hard to do in this day and age. People can be, somewhat very superficial. On my quest to achieve this I have learnt a lot about human nature. It seems to me that those who are not given traits such as beauty or being wealthy are some of the nicest, kindest and generous people. While the "gorgeous" and well off seem to be the most arrogant and greedy people out there. Of course that's not to say there aren't beautiful kind people out there. I've been in the process of change for a while now and I have made some decent changes. I saw your profile and it intrigued me. But In my university life, I realized it is not all of the liyari that's scary or has gangsters loitering around in every corner. Infact I recently got to know about this school/hi-end education facility that made me realize that it's not as dark and shady as it used to be known for. Plus, I know some neighbours that have extended families living there, why would be a decently-affording class living there if it wasn't safe.
Karachi was famous for mobsters yet we lived here, why? Not because we were immune to that or dint have options but because it wasn't alll of the city. Ill give you an example, My parents are from Swat. And during the war times, my frnds would ask me if it ever will be safe or even now, people think of KP as a ruined place , full of Taliban-like people . When we are away from a place and the only source is media to know about it, we get many mixed up and scary versions and we believe in them because thats how our species have survived! It's an innate thing. We like to be alarmed and alert of all the possible dangers and our brains exaggerate them,for us , for our own security. This is how news channels run.
