Great Review! After hearing what you had to say I got one for myself and everything you said is absolutely true! Quality, Style super warm and comfortable. Love the liner that you can take out. It's now my favorite jacket! Thanks for your help in my decision. Love it!

What a nice jacket. I am going to pick up my Merlin Edale jacket next week. Looks very similar to the jacket you have on. They’re very aesthetically appealing. The deep pockets are very practical. Just as good as the Belstaff for half the cost.

How is this jacket in the summer?

      Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to ask a question. So the jacket is a great 3/4 season jacket. Take out the thermal liner and it performs very well.
Depending on where you live, it will be warmer stood still in the sun, but on the bike it’s just right. Good wind protection and ventilation.
Merlin do a mesh jacket (Chigwell) I think, but I like the peace of mind of a full jacket. Just in case that Great British weather changes and it slings it down.
      I hope this helps.

Rob, you mentioned losing weight. What size did you end up getting. I'm a heavy chap at 5ft 8in . Would a 4x be too long ?
