How are these compare to the merlin edale jacket for warmer weather?

Excellent idea to velcro gaps between snaps and prevent any airflow even if jacket has one more storm flap under long front flap!!!
I have 3 jackets, leather and waxed cotton, with long front flap with snaps only and I wished many times to add velcro on higher speed and cold times when I lean front curved flaps work as sucking air tunnel. Congrats to designer.
Here we need better waist adjustment solution if there is no belt outside. I challenge this to designer becouse I am not paid for his job :) even if I have few ideas :)
There are many cotton waxed texiles, so we miss few more close ups of the fabric and english quality. I know that Merlin has story about it as good brand advantage so I guess that buyers would like to hear 15 sec about it.
Again and again you have issues with interior of helmets, gloves and now jackets :) speaking few sentences about improved 150gr thermal lining without showing it (inside and taken out) a is .... not good. Show us the subject that you are talking about

What are the colour options please ? Many of the photos on the web site seem to show a brown option but the only colours I can find listed are black and olive (which I assume is like the Barbour olive, ie dark green). I want the brown one BTW !

Question: you are the same height and chest i am. When you say “M would be preferred” it means that the M would fit better on you? Cause i ve ordered an L and that L looked fitting well on you.

Hi Lorenzo, Merlin jackets tend to run on the bigger side so when it was mentioned a M would be preferred it was due to the jacket being on bit loose and for more tailored fit a Medium would be more suitable. - Iza

Got the original Yoxall, from Urban Rider of course! I couldn’t see any justification for several £100s more for Belstaff. Accepted they are superb jackets but I cannot fault the Merlin. Used across all seasons. Not a negative I could give. Highly recommend and it looks quality and won’t leave you thinking I should have bought a Belstaff.
