If my husband said, “Let’s Cook Today” I would go so far into shock my mouth would be stuck open and my eyes would be in permanent bug out. You both are so cute, having fun and laughing together. ❤❤
Was thinking that, too (or similar thought); think it would be fun to see the guys take over the kitchen! Y'all Be Safe! ----- Feel better soon, Mandy!
Ms. Mandy!!! I love you, and your channel. I even put it on in the background when I’m cooking or cleaning the house. Your vibe, house and family make me feel easy and happy. My son, who just turned one, always dances to your little happy song that plays at the end of all of your videos. He will always be interested in watching your videos, too, and sit with me contently watching. Thank you for you and everything you do. Feel better. -Roxanne :)
I was actually thinking you need to salt and do cracked pepper on those veggies 😂 we have tried the chicken sausage and we aren’t a fan of it from a different recipe you did but we love skinless smoked sausage sheet pan meals. I will have to try in air fryer some time. We have A large family though. I usually throw a bunch of different color peppers, smoked sausage, cubed potatoes, and seasonings mixed with a little olive oil baked with tiny dots of butter so yummy! I just made that a few days ago 😆 I love creamy Mediterranean chicken! It’s so good! I love that Steven’s coming around to crèam cheese 😆 it’s soooo good! I hope you are feeling better soon!
You and Steven are so adorable together! Miss Gracie Lou was definitely saying "I love you" at the end because she was blinking slowly at us. I hope you feel better! 💜
I'm so happy you shared the Mom's Brown Rice dish and feel it deserves more attention actually. I'm 62 and have been making it all my life and it's still one of my top 10 favorite side dishes EVER. So easy but so under rated. I melt a stick of butter in the pan while preheating my oven then add the other things to that. It's delicious unless you don't like onions. Can add fresh or canned mushrooms too.
I really enjoy your channel and watching you and your family. I hope that y’all have a good weekend and that you’re feeling better soon. Thank you for showing me how to be a better cook.
I first learned about using baking soda to tenderize meat from America's Test Kitchen, so I tried it. The results were mixed. Yes, it helped tenderize the meat, but it also took away a lot of the flavor. I never did it again.
I busted out loud laughing when Forest Gump ! That was perfect timing. Fun video this week. They both looked like keepers. Hope your feeling better. Loved your sweatshirt.
Another cool way to thicken the sauce would be to slightly undercook the pasta and finish cooking it in the sauce, the added starch from the pasta will naturally thicken the sauce and infuse the pasta with the sauce.
Aldis has wonderful Chicken sausage & if u look at ingredients, it's the only brand that doesn't have "corn syrup" added - my kidneys can't have that stuff, so I almost shouted for joy when I saw none of it! Hey hey from West Michigan's coast! 🙋♀️🌻✋️🦋💕💕💕
I will be giving these recipes a try. I've made the brown rice before but will add butter to it. Feel better soon and have a great weekend. ❤ Love little Gracie Lou!
You two are so awesome together. I love the laughter between you 2. And the way Steven describes the food, and your son gives thumb votes. Always keep a little cheese ready for the cat, nomatter if you put it in your recipe or not.😊
Everything looks really good. My husband went to culinary arts school. But he would never cook. He left the field once the boys came along. Still wouldn't cook..LOL The Asian method of tenderizing is called velveting
Mandy & Steven, I love the use of jarred Red Peppers! They're so versatile to keep in a pantry & the little bit of brine gives a wonderful flavor too! U can freq find a single serve jar at Dollar Tree. Thanks for these recipes. Can I get more White Fish & Cod recipes? My Drs want me to follow a Mediterranean Diet & I'm not good at cooking fish. I've been digging for that Cod Stew u did a while back but can't find it. It's so good for us to eat fish every week! I think I'm gonna have to get a kitty bc Miss Gracie has simply won my heart! Feel better, sending u prayers! 🙋♀️🌻🏠🦋💕💕💕💕
My husband and I are new subscribers. We love "y'all"! I've been cooking many of your recipes. It's now a ritual for my husband to ask "is this a Mandy dinner?" Yes babe it sure is"!
I'm on an extremely low sodium diet, trying to get my blood pressure under control. I have found that using a lot of spices and seasonings can make food taste good without salt. I use a lot of smoked paprika. I'm sending love and healing energy your way, Mandy.❤❤
Steven in the kitchen with you is very fun. Probably not as much fun for you, Mandy, but we enjoy it. 😉 I'm making ground beef enchiladas tonight, from scratch. Canned enchilada sauce doesn't work for me, so I make my own. Thank you for sharing with us! 💜
Whom is this cream cheese connoisseur? See Stephen you will learn to love it, in meals. I add cream cheese to a lot of my pasta dishes for the added creamy goodness. I have even used cream cheese with added sour cream and onion…. Gives that borden cheese flavor without the cost.
Love the video and I appreciate Steven willing to be more open to cream cheese! You two are an amazing team in the kitchen. Sorry to hear you're not feeling great Mandy! Praying for you! Ah, Gracie Lou, we love you!!!!❤❤❤❤Have a blessed weekend. ❤😊🥰
I’m one of your subscribers who doesn’t comment much, I want to say thank you for all that you do. Love your videos, your recipes and most of all your family. Feel better soon! ❤❤
So happy you added the Forest Gump clip in there, we’ve thought for the longest time that Steven reminds us of Tom Hanks! They could be brothers! You guys are so much fun together and we love everything about your channel!
Steven you always crack me up! I'm 64 and thought it was time to get a real knife - Misen! Lol I saw you cooking with your Misen knife. I got one for myself for Christmas. Hope you feel better soon.
One way you could possibly win him over to the cream cheese is by using the flavored spreads instead of just plain cream cheese. We love using the spicy jalapeño, chive and onion, or the garlic and herbs flavors in savory dishes. A bonus is that they are already soft so you don’t need to wait for them to soften.
Hope you're feeling better Mandy. The recipes look delicious and way to go Steven on the cream cheese addition. It's Always Great to see the Both of you in the kitchen!♥️
Mandy (and Steven)- I also get quite a kick out of you guys. I made the creamy chicken recipe you recommended. (My sister says I am incapable of following a recipe- I should at least make it the first time according to the recipe, then make changes/substitutions later. This is part of why I do not bake) Since I'm allergic to peppers, I used a can of fire roasted diced tomatoes in their place. I drained the liquid into the measuring cup I used to reconstitute better than bouillon- I didn't want to waste the flavor. I also added a container of sliced mushrooms to the diced onions and garlic. I took it to my Ladies Bible study for our dinner and everyone loved it! I brought red pepper flakes with me as one of our ladies likes things spicier than the rest of us. It was a "go backer" for all of us, someone even had a (smaller) third serving. Thanks for all of the good ideas
I remove the stems from my spinach too. But, the reason is definitely different than most people. I was raised on a cattle farm and cows have "cud" which looks exactly like chewed spinach WITH the stems! So, my Mother always removed the stems so our spinach did not look like "cud". I grew up that way so I do it to this day as my Daughter. No "cud" allowed on our table. 😁
That creamy Mediterranean Chicken looks amazing! Definitely going on my list! I hope you feel better soon and get a chance to just cuddle up with your sweet purr Gracie. It looks like the perfect weekend for some reading and some movies ☀️🌻
You rest up. The East Coast has been inundated with COVID and flu cases since Christmas. Really good 👍 to see you cook together. You’re so funny together and you make me laugh. Great recipes. Love 💕 and Hugs. 💙💙💙
Hi Mandy. I'm sorry your not feeling well. I hope you get better soon. My husband's idea of cooking is opening a can, except breakfast. He does eggs, French toast and pancakes. We call those 2 meals that are inbetween normal meals brunch and linner, combo of lunch and dinner. 😂 love your video's. Have a great weekend 😊
Sweet Gracie Lou!!!! You been GYPPED!!!😢😢😢❤❤❤ Tink, our cheese fiend says hemeow Get better dear lady. Health is more important then videos. Besides, if need be, Steven can aquit himself well in the kitchen.... MORE cream cheese?!?!?!😮😮🫨🥳🥳🥳 Amaaaaazing!! The process of baking sofa is called velveting. It works best with the thin strips of meat used in a stir fry for more tenderness. Maybe pound the steaks then sprinkle the baking soda?
Feel better Mandy. We ddo love all your recipe shares but it's more important you take care of YOU first. Never thought we would hear Steven say to add more cream cheese! WTG Steven!
Hi Mandy. Great recipes as always. I love to see the two of you together anyway, but Steven cooking with you is the icing on the cake! 🥰 Thanks for sharing.🤗💕
Loved both of the dinners, soon I need some veggies to make both of those. Sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well, I hope you are back to yourself next week. Rest and have Mr. Tater, cook. He's a good hubby.❣️🦋💕
I love watching you both and Lou is precious! I have 5 furry felines who always show up when I'm cooking! You're recipes are well loved around here and I never run out of yummy dinners! I hope you feel better soon!!!
I cooked the chicken recipe. I did not have roasted peppers. I used fresh red peppers, added mushrooms. I used an entire stick of butter. My chicken was a little disappointing. Kind of tough. But the sauce was delicious.
Using baking soda on thinner slices of meat (or chunks or ground) is called "velveting". Don't do it with thick cuts (like a big thick steak) as it will cause the meat on the edges to disintegrate and become gummy but it works great otherwise.
2 great meals going on my "to make" list, which is pretty much ALL of your videos! Feel better soon and give Gracie love from me and my two Tabbies, Freddy and Annibel.
Hi, I’ve been checking all morning for your cooking class. I’m taking care of my sister in law Aunt so I’ll have to save your video for later. And I did try to call my sister, Bonnie, my twin, to let her know your on and I can’t get a hold of her. Love you dear
My husband and i both cook together. Unless im at work like today he threw a pork shoulder in the crockpot and i walked in the house and OMG 😊 it smelled amazing.
If my husband said, “Let’s Cook Today” I would go so far into shock my mouth would be stuck open and my eyes would be in permanent bug out. You both are so cute, having fun and laughing together. ❤❤
Lol 😂
Same girl!
Right!!!
Praying 🙏🙏
Exactly!
Steven cracks me up. I love when he helps in the kitchen. I hope you get to feeling better!
He's never too old to change his ways.
Dish looks pretty too!
Mark it on the calendar..."add more crm cheese"!!
We’re soooo proud of the Common Tator for coming to the RIGHT SIDE!!!! LOVE CREAM CHEESE!!!
The boys should do a cooking segment for you for Mother’s Day 😂❤

After chopping your onions, soak them in water for 5-10 minutes. It takes some of the potency out of them and softens the flavor. Love y'all
Any meal you don't have to cook yourself is a Winner Dinner in my book! Be well from washington state USA ❤️
I love it when my husband says he is going to cook dinner.🎉
Gracie ❤

I never thought I’d hear those words from your husband. “More cream cheese”! Looks delicious! ❤️ I hope you feel better soon.
Who is this man, and what did he do with Steven 😂❤

I couldn't find the chicken sausage at my Sam's Club. I did find it at another grocery store in Michigan called Meijer.

I'm roaring with laughter. Steven is hilarious and you two are absolutely hysterical. And these are good recipes for sure....
My late husband’s idea of helping me cook was coming in every so often and stirring whatever was on the stove!
Everything looks delicious. Good job Steven. Get well soon Mandy. Have a great weekend.

Steven you always crack me up! I'm 64 and thought it was time to get a real knife - Misen! Lol I saw you cooking with your Misen knife. I got one for myself for Christmas. Hope you feel better soon.
Hope that you are feeling better soon.💐❤️
Hope you are feeling better, Mandy! 🙏🏼
The cream cheese pasta dish. I'd slice chicken thin and saute it. Add it to pasta and cheese sauce. Mix and serve
The chicken looks fabulous I'd probably add some baby Bella mushroom slices and maybe some rings of grape tomato near the end
Lupper! Yes! That's exactly what my husband and I call our weekend afternoon meal!😂
Hope you're feeling better!
Not only do you give such good recipes, but you two are such a hoot! Love your family. Thank you for letting us into your home. 🙏
1:55 that is so funny as I call it lupper too! See, Steven, cream cheese isn't all that bad. These recipes look amazing!

Great video! There were 3 dishes, the brown rice could be a meal on its own. Hope you get to feeling better soon.
Lol I loved the Forrest Gump insert. I almost choked on my kiwi strawberry snapple 😂 love you guys
😂
I love when Steve joins you. You two are the best. 💕💕💕
I like to soak chicken, pork chops and even small steaks in buttermilk for a couple hours before dunking in flour and frying.
I remove the stems from my spinach too. But, the reason is definitely different than most people. I have used the baking soda and a bit of water in a zipper bag for a steak. What a difference! Much more tender.
Feel better Mandy.
That looks really good I think I'm going to make this after church Sunday

Your 🐱 is absolutely adorable. Love it when she gets in the video
Prayers for you to feel better Mandy. Love y’all and God Bless y’all!
I hope you are feeling better. Here’s some 🧀 for you too Gracie.

Looks delicious.
Poor Gracie!!! No cheese!!!!
Hi, I’ve been checking all morning for your cooking class. I’m taking care of my sister in law Aunt so I’ll have to save your video for later. And I did try to call my sister, Bonnie, my twin, to let her know your on and I can’t get a hold of her. Love you dear
