- I take you guys with me to do some Saltwater Surf Fishing from the BEACH!! There are a ton of fish species that are swimming around the surf this time of the year in the spring. Among those species there are some absolute monsters!! We spend the day in the salt and the sand, and I did not expect for this to happen..
Again, I want to thank each and every one of you for the support! At the time of this upload we just passed 375,900 I'm having so much fun making these videos, lets keep this rolling!

No shit, I live in southern De. It’s my first year surf fishing on my own. This was the first video that came up and legit was hype you’re a Delaware angler.
For the soft baits like clam try using a piece of cheese cloth , form it into a bag and tie it with elastic thread

You need to up your surf game. First the rig you were using isn't tied correctly. If you're going to use a fish finder rig use a sinker slide so you can change sinker. You had the wrong fishbites for this time of year water temp is 55 so get the red package not the blue. You can use fresh chowder clams instead of surf clams. Cut your bunker into smaller chunks and get a cutting board.

My preferred method for using clam is to wrap them individually in a piece of pantyhose (no bearded clam jokes, please) then tie it off like an old-fashioned purse. I freeze these in old ice cure trays, then remove and store in a container in the freezer. This way, they're much easier to separate and use when you're on the water. The pantyhose wrap keeps it on the hook and turns it into a fairly durable bait. You can even hook and wrap the bags around hooks before you freeze them, if you want.

Hey man. Next time you catch a skate or ray that you intend to release, avoid turning it over. Their organs are on the top side and they dont have skeletons to protect them. This one probably fine, butbigger ones can crush their organs if you flip them upside down.
A tip for you and anyone reading that may catch a ray: they have two little holes (nostril like) in front of their mouth. You can put fingers in these and lift his head to get to his mouth without doing any harm. Their tail cant get you when your holding them here either. When returning him, you can raise his head this way and glide him along the sand back to the water like a skim board, without damaging him or the slime on his back :D

To put the rod holders in the ground u can suck air through the top with your mouth while pushing it in the ground and it makes it go in the ground much easier
When you put in your sand spike or rod holder you should use a mini sledgehammer it goes straight into the sand and it goes deeper so it won’t fall
This makes me miss saltwater fishing😫😫

Stay safe during these hard times bro, love your vids! Keep up the great work. Also, quick tip when you catch those sand fleas. When the tide goes down, look for little air pockets. Those are where they are. Also, there are rakes for those, you can catch 10+ in one scoop.
5 years ago I fished right off broadkill Beach. Caught a massive 82lbs black drum with a sand flea.

There is a orange like rubber mallet that's filled with sand that works great to hammer in the rod holders without breaking them. It's all I use for my pvc ones

It was a Stone crab and the thing called Stingrays are ALSO called "Skeetwing" here in the south and we actually eat the wings off of them.

Do more beach fishing and get some bait from that vending machine from before. Also, you can combine your fishbites wíth the clam, the fishbites can secure your bait and prevent it from sliding off the hook.

Buy a rubber mallet to hit the pvc pipes into the sand so you can look cool lmao keep rockin em dude. I used to live in Newark Delaware and fished Rehobeth beaches and now I'm in Florida and watching you fish Delaware beaches is awesome!

Next challenge video should be you making your own rod and reel for saltwater at Home Depot.
for your pvc pipe rod holders.. you should cut a hole on the top so you can stick a metal pipe through.. just spin n push down..easy drill down alot deeper.
An easier way of putting the pbc pipes in the sand is to use a rubber mallet. That way the pbc pipe won’t move either.

Suggestion for the clams. Try cutting it up and put it in PVA mesh bags like carp fishermen use.
fun fact: black drum make a sound that travel through under water then the sound goes up in the air the in houses *if the black drum was in a saltwater canal and if the houses were close to the canal*

You can use elastic thread from the fabric department at Walmart. Wrap it around the bait and hook then just rip the rest off. Good to go.
You can use the lip of the clam to hold it on better long almost rubbery pieces

You know I like you're videos but the hooks with the green flotings you can use sand fleas its called a pampano rig and the brum rig that you did its perfect first Bunker or mullet you can buy you're own cast net and its is much fun getting in the water and casting it you catch lots of little fish and use them as bait some saltwater tips use them and thank you for you're videos

Another way to drive the PVC pipe in the sand is to put a board of wood on top of the PVC pipe and then use a bigger rubber hammer to drive it into the sand that will be easier and faster!
I love the catch and cooks can you do a forest ones but like a survival like make a shelter and fire etc that would be very interesting
