    To make this bag, you will need:
    -Binding
    -Material for an interior slip or zipper pocket (if not using the provided ones)
    -zipper tape
    -1 or 2 zipper pulls
    Strap per pattern, see pattern for hardware list
    Limited hardware option:
    -1 swivel clasp
    -1 D ring
    -1 slide adjuster
    -1.5 yds of webbing
    -optional, small piece of webbing for back

    Why not sew the two pie es together for the hat and collar prior to sewing it to the bag? Just wondering. Great tutorial

      You could absolutely do that if you wanted. I personally found I can get those extra sewn on things, like the hat, more secure by sewing the back on first, then adding the front. For the cuffs, because they are so small, it would be easier to sew them together first, and then sew them to the bag.
