@@ufoquilter86 depends on the structure I want. The vinyl mavs, Ill use nothing in the 100%, but decovil light in the 120%. If they’re cw or canvas Ill use heavy. Ive also used fusible fleece in some too.

That is correct.

There’s no physical pattern for this, all the “pattern pieces” are printed onto the material making it a “sew along”.

You could absolutely do that if you wanted. I personally found I can get those extra sewn on things, like the hat, more secure by sewing the back on first, then adding the front. For the cuffs, because they are so small, it would be easier to sew them together first, and then sew them to the bag.

Now that you own the Mav pack pattern, you need to email that to kacutnsew@gmail.com They will email you back to confirm that the Mav pack has been added to your K&A account. (You also need to have a K&A account set up). After that, make sure you are logged into your account, and at the top there’s a drop down menu and you’ll see ‘Mav pack’. Click on that and you’ll be able to see all the different Mav pack cut n sew options that K&A has to offer (including the Pimp my bag types). This piglet bag is the Sarah pattern from K&A, if you’re looking for this one specifically.

I personally used 1”, but you could use 1.5” too.

These are from K&A custom fabrics and hardware. In the description, it’ll have information on sending your POPP (proof of pattern purchase) to them, and then your account will be given access to all the different Mav cut n sews on their pre-order and retail websites

The lights are included with the sew along from K&A.

When you purchase the sew along from k&a, it comes with the exterior and lining bag materials. The snaps, hardware, zipper tape/pulls are sold separately.

K&A does have a monthly subscription box, and those boxes come with everything to complete a bag (minus stabilizer, thread)

There are no patterns for the sew alongs. The pieces come in the sizes needed (some trimming needed on the lining).

Trying to figure out out to get my paper pieces to digital pieces so others can make it. (I so lack the computer/program knowledge for that). Once I have that, I can have a video for it. But in the meantime, the hedwig video has a pin board explanation in there.

Not sure what you mean, but the main part of my material/bag is to the left of my machine/foot. It’s also personal preference, not everyone sews the same.

I have other tutorials that go over installing the lights and making the entire bag.

The embroidery design is from my website- stitchn-designs.com The bag pattern is the Erica Bowler from Oro Rosa. You’d need to purchase the pattern to get the instructions for the bag. I do not have a tutorial for the complete bag currently.
