10/10 Would recommend to anyone trying to get their flights done fast without skipping! takes a 2 hour flight to about 10 minutes depending on how fast you speed the sim up.
If you don't want to or can't speed up sim rate, do skydiving. You can use every skip available and still get most of the money. Just be sure to dive as fast as you can once you have no more skydivers (engine off, dive down), so you land quickly, as one of the criteria is speed
Thanks for the tip I will try that out. Yea I wonder how the math would work out with how much faster you complete those even for a bit less money. Maybe that’ll be the next plane I buy. Appreciate you watching the video
Crazy isn't it. I just float down in a fairly steep spiral with full rudder and engine down. It doesn't care that you didn't take the super long route.
until the sim decides to just crash your only plane and the repair cost is 180k and you need to gridn again just to get that one plane. Once you got two planes and proper insurance you are good. Sim rate is also a bit problematic because you will miss the ATC calls.
Yea for sure there is risk I probably should have mentioned that part. Generally I only do 2 maybe 3 times speed. Even at 2x speed your cutting flight times in half. I’ve only ever missed a few calls. At 2x speed you will hear them so when I do I set speed back to normal and I usually catch them in time. As far as crashing I haven’t had that happen yet now 15 flights in. 🤞just don’t sim rate too much only do 2 or 3 times and set to normal for landing
Thank you I appreciate that! Should be coming today. Going to do it as a short and keep it clear and simple. Full in depth tutorials can already be found so I think making a quick simple explanation would be better
Typically I use it once stabilized at cruise speed with engine leaned out. I usually slow down for decent and then speed up until about 10 miles out from the airport. Works best if the missions are VFR flights. This is even more efficient once you get the vision jet for VIP charters. Then get the Caravan for medium Cargo
Although I do enjoy the longer flights, I don't want to sit in a 172 for an hour and thirty just to get a measly 2k credits. It's really not worth it, at least in the stage of the game I'm in now.
@@Avid_CJ4_Enjoyer yea. I was doing them in full for a while then stopped. I now have the pc12 ngx. Since I’m pack to a plane I enjoy flying I have been more willing to fly without sim rate as much. But some of the contracts are 5 hour flights. Meaning I could do like 1 between getting off work and sleeping. So I think I will still be sim rating the cruise of most career mode flights.
@@Reign_Plays_Games I enjoy flying the 172, but I'd like to have some variety y'know. Don't know if there's a way to pause missions. They should add that. Not everyone can sit down for a 5 hour flight just for some credits 💀
@ you can pause but I’ve had issues with the sim crashing if it’s left for too long. Certainly variety would help. I think most people are just trying to get too a 737 as fast as possible. Maybe it would be more enjoyable to just own a bunch of aircraft for various mission types rather than just flying the same thing over and over because it makes the most money
what about whe the tower talks to you and youre too fast to answer in time and you end up not answering on accident and getting penalized by that ? this has happened to me
Yea it’s a risk you take. Ideally I try to pick cargo flights that are VFR. Therefore less ATC interaction. In practice if you only sim rate about 3 times normal speed you can slow down as soon as you hear ATC talking and respond fast enough.
@how should I do with a 9:30hours flight from medavac ?and what are they expecting?? Like 9:30 hours of real time flight ? Even with the 3x speed.. still 3:10 total time in real life
Hmm not sure what happened there. I know the games UI is a. It strange to find things on. It’s possible you missed it or were one of the many to experience a bug in career mode.
If your in the Cessna 172 make sure you set the fuel tank selector switch is set to both. Also make sure you don’t leave the plane at full throttle as you can overheat the engines. Also verify you lean out the mixture a bit for altitude
I’ve noticed the last day or two that the default control alt r opens the Nvidia overlay for performance. This is due to the last Nvidia update. So make sure to change the control in Nvidia to something else. Or bind sim rate increase and decrease to different keys. That has fixed it for me.
Dang that’s wild. Fortunately I haven’t crashed it yet. I would try to do some long flights and do other stuff on your computer while the plane is in flight to make some money back
the vip charter is like half million doing the same thing in the vision jet. the vision jet also has auto throttle. but how do i do the cargo mission medium?
To get cargo mission medium you just have to do enough light Fargo missions 10 I think. With a B or better I’m pretty sure. Then be able to afford the plane. I also find it funny when the characters complain about WiFi on a vip mission in a Cessna 172 lol
My G!!!!❤ was losing my mind on the 4 hr cargo then loosing it all because it bugged & didn’t register my landing so it just booted me out. I lost rep lol..
Oooof yea I haven’t had many issues with the game like that. I once had the mission step no change to land on runway like it was stuck so I flew back to the pattern entry again and it registered. I think I’ve gotten very lucky to not experience many bugs
@ yea I expect it will get more stable as time goes on. I’d recommend making sure you don’t have the Graphics settings too high and if you can play on a hardwired connection. Wi-Fi since it’s not as stable seems to be the cause of a lot of issues
@@Reign_Plays_Games surprisingly I haven't had many issues with a Wi Fi connection only had a couple of low bandwidth notifications. Main thing that comes to mind is overheating. If you’re leaving the plane at full throttle the ITT can climb eventually shutting down the engine. There is a green indicator for engine rpm make sure your keeping the RPM within that. I also had it happen once where I accidentally hit the fuel cutoff. Located near the tank selection. I thought the engine died but it was the cutoff. I didn’t realize it was mapped to a button on my Hotas by default.
@MatvaNabor good call that’s probably what’s happening lol. If only there were checklists 🙃 lol. But yea good chance that’s what @BuffaloHHDD is missing.
Yeah it ended up being a combo of the two, wasn't reducing rpm to 2300 on cruise and on left tank only, also ended up adding fuel for longer flights for peace of mind lol.
