@@Amit-oy6vt yeah true agree, but I do not argue at personal level like u, I look at different way, our democracy not at matured into that level where prime minister freely expressed his views. We r still largely look up top leader , in that context PM has huge pressure when interact with public..not just this PM , it apply to all including state level leaders..some come to camera and talk freely some cannot..it is not they do not know how to, it is larger issue, our democracy not matured enough..hope one day our democracy become like UK, DM, Aus etc where politicians allowed to speak freely without immense ppl pressure..

Bhai India me Intellectual ka meaning aaj tak kuch aur hi mana gaya hai... Mostly Leftist are considered. The truth is, anyone who has deep understanding of their subject regardless of Ideology can be found in Any spectrum of Politics whether RIght or Left.I also consider myself as Centrist but a lot of things Leftist try to do to ruin India and its Unity I slip more towards RIght wing and this is the story of Millions of Young Indians.

It's a rich country bro. Things are different there and here. They have labour safety provisions while ours has a hire and fire policy to give more freedom of decision and autonomy to employers so that they can run their company the way they want. Ease of doing biz I guess.

good to be optimistic but we have already had enough time, haven't we? plus isn't that obvious? Nothing big is achieved overnight.
The race started in 1960s with SK, China, Japan in starting line along with us but we got left behind when we should have been just as powerful economically. To put it in perspective we were richer than china in 80s or 90s
There are reasons for our worm crawling economic growth compared to them but it's not like congress could have predicted that. So not blaming them on policy side.
However, the biggest reason is probably congress' over-adherence to democratic process, project stagnations lasting decades, inefficiency, lack of a leader, it being socialist in nature rather than capitalist.... the list goes on.
If you have read world history, you would know that socialism doesn't lead to a rich, powerful country. Unless they are like China and make revisions and embrace capitalistic ideas and bring market policy reforms in the same vein.
BJP is exact opposite. It tends to be undemocratic which leads to fast passing of bills and amendments, pro capitalist, great leader, better structural efficiency etc. I just hope the next few decades are better than the last few decades and we don't become a failure story again. So embarassing. the time is very ripe to dethrone big players at least in some sectors though.
Right now china is facing crackdowns disguised as socialist reforms. The shares have fallen drastically due to that. The investors and companies are looking for destinations other than china. I can only hope the govt.'s PLI strategy and this year's ifra investment policies + huge number of supply side policies do their work and we get to catch those fishes(investors and companies) fresh out of the pond.
However the govt. has just invested a mere 0.3% this year and it has usually been low when it comes to RnD investment which is committing past mistakes like a mad man. When is FM going to get that it's the backbone of innovation? Ah, smh.
