Your 2 door was well thought out and nicely equipped. It is nice to see that you used some of 2 door accessories on your new 4 door. I am partial to 2 doors but like any Jeep. I really like the way you have mounted your Roto Packs. I know this video is a year old but I have been watching all of your videos and have more to go, all very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing.

@@dennisr7452 thank you for watching and commenting! The fact that I could move much of what was on the 2 door over to the 4 door was part of the reason why we stayed with a Jeep rather than switching to a different brand. I honestly like the look of the 2 door better as well, but we needed space and towing capacity…. More on that to come soon!!!

I like your Jeep. Did you do a regear with running 35" tires? I am waffling between 35 and 33's, and I will not run 35" tires without doing a 4.56 regear. I have snow a good five months of the year and would go down to a 33 or 31 winter tire. A 33" tire seems to be the option for me.

Thank you. We did not regear. It’s somewhat of a budget constraint… the axles, gears, and engine are 100% stock. I don’t really have any complaints about performance with the stock gears, but I definitely wouldn’t go any bigger on tires with regearing.

How’s the hardtop after having it for over a year?? Been contemplating getting one. Do you ever remove it?? Does it leak after removing it?? Awesome vids

Funny that you should ask, I’ve been planning on making a review video! Sadly, we have not taken it off so I can’t comment on that process. We love it and we haven’t had any issues with it. I was worried it would be hot inside since it’s plain fiberglass and not lined in the inside, and also not shaped the same way as a factory top is so standard headliners wouldn’t work, but we haven’t noticed any difference in heat from our previous soft top - and it’s much quieter than any soft top we’ve ever had! I would definitely recommend it. Thanks for your comment & for subscribing!

@@venture.explore.discoverhow’s the noise with the rack on top??

@@yankeeezilla403 it’s still quieter than a soft top. When we have our awning on the side that makes a definite whistle, but the rack itself makes very little noise.

That's an unbranded eBay front bumper. They run about $200.

Thank you, that’s what I figured. The powder coat is completely peeled off the inside, and starting to peel off the outside. On the other hand, the rectangular fog lights are brighter than my headlights! Looking forward to replacing both the front and rear bumpers when I can!
