From Idea to Final Garment, The Full Fashion Design Process

I hope you find this video useful. Forgot to mention a few things in the video
1) I usually collect all my drawings and design developments in a sketchbook. I still prefer doing this the old school way.
2) Research can be divided into two categories, primary (first visit to gallery, market, museum e.t.c.) and secondary (creating drawings inspired by materials collected from primary research)
3) A moodboard is a physical or digital collage of images, fabric, colours, trims e.t.c that visually sums up your idea. I don't think there is a wrong or right way of doing this (don't quote me anywhere lol) but I believe it should make sense to you.
If I remember anything else, I will add on here with time.

🥰🥰🥰🥰❤❤💣💥 I love how you're open about how you started and you had a professional make your pieces❤ most people.. I appreciate that it makes someone who also just started comfortable with this idea. When I started my journey initially I didn't ever want to sew lol I thought I'd just design and get seamstresses pattern makers but starting was difficult lol especially when u on a low budget I ended up learning to sew and it became addictive lol
